Today i completed this triangular crochet shawl and this pic shows me wearing it.. i am very excited about it turning out really nice. But now i think that i've made it so i will always like it.. to know the truth i am putting it here.. plz have a look and tell me if you like it..

What a beautiful shawl! You SHOULD be proud of it and enjoy it. And good for you for making something for yourself! I can't think of a single thing I've made for myself in all the time I've been knitting...I think I'm going to pick out a pattern for myself right now. We all deserve handmade things for ourselves too. :)

Yes you are right.. in all these years this is the very first thing i've made for myself.. all the other times while i was into making something, either i would think of giving it to someone near or someone visiting me would ask me to give it to them... i think we all must make atleast one thing for ourselves... it really feels gr8.. even you must look for some pattern for yourself thanx for your appreciation.

i got it in a 32 yr old pattern book which my mother once bought.. there it is shown in ferozy colour..

It's beautiful, really, it is! I'm sure it took very many hours of work, but the result is worth it. You can be proud of it. How big it actually is?

it covers me completely from top and hangs at the back till my knees and in front it hangs upto my thighs.. :)

You did a great job! I could never do that, I can only make scarfs out of a single stitch. I hope one day I can get fancy like you.

if i can do it than anyone on earth can do it.. its just the matter of getting the right pattern and a little bit of confidence in you to make anything in crochet.. :) have a good day.

heart-bag - i made this one for my co-workers wifes last valentine as a gift together with a new mobile that he buy for his wife.
i think you made it very beautiful, i was trying to make a shawl just fro me first as a trial but i never come up into a nice one so i stop it and change my design.

i think this shaw looks absolutely beautiful i only wish i could do those patterns but i am not quite that expierenced yet i could knit just the shaw part but i am not talented enough to do those kind of diamond designs on them just yet if i were you i would be really excited about finally getting to wear it too i also think it turned out really nice too i eventually want to learn how to knit and crochet like that i think they would make good gifts to give to people during the holiday seasons
