I do not want to stay at work after work hours. I work til 6pm and it is more than enough for me. I need to stop sitting and need to move:) Office work hours go by very very slowly. And I can't stay at work overtime - they turn on the security system.

What is your job dream2night? :) they turn on alarm for alert others for working hour is over right :)....It's normal, nobody love to overtime, because it make us really tired. More importantly, we don't have much time to do personal thing :)

I like my job because I have some flexibility to my hours. Some days, like today, I worked long hours and over time. But other days I will go home early. I like being in a position that no one is expecting me to punch in or punch out - but trust me to do my job - because I do my job well! :) I know you do to my brother.

I too happy with my job booboo :) i know i make the right path into my dream. One thing i don't like about it, it's force all the staff to stay until 4.30pm even we a lecturer don't have a class at the evening. We just stay and do nothing (as easy to say)..Supposedly lecturer working hour is flexibility right, as long as it's 6 hour. At the end i realize, i'm just teaching at diploma level :) LOL i'm not at university level yet..

You are right. My working hour is 830 to 530 and 1 to 2 lunch hour. I realy wait for 530 every day. It is so lengthy working hour from morning till eveing I am in office. Though it is only 8 hours in calculation but I have to come to office very morning hour and have to go in evening hours. There are only hours with me for my personal life. I too get tired of work, I reach home soon and take a cup of tea or coffee first then other work. The world is so fast that in office also we have to be fast as much as we can to maintain standard in office.

When we scheduling our day, it seems not even a minute should be waste to nothing right pramodthakur. In this busy world, i think they should rethink again about employee life. Did you serve for goverment service? I do. So with the salary given, i make a good deal with my effort, and sometime i do complaint about holiday too, because it's something our right. If it against company right, then it sholud go for human right.

It all depends on what I have going on for the day as to how long I want to work. The overtime pay would be and is very nice to have. I like to work on my computer as long as I can each day but it is hard to do that when I have a husband and a 15 year old daughter. I try to be offline by 5:00 p.m. every day so i can get things done around the home, spend time with them and cook some supper. Summer is coming up and I will need some daylight hours to get out an cut the grass too soon. If I don't have anything to do or get done, I don't mind working past 5:00 p.m. I would rather work and earn extra money than to do anything else when my husband and daughter aren't here.

Really my friend, it seem you're hardworking type person. What is your job my friend? I think i should be private sector :) am i right. Goverment servant which salary more than $500 a month should not claim for overtime, so i do think it's unfair, and never willing to do extra work. Well for money oriented, it just what i said. For me, i don't mind at all, i always do my work at office until late night, it's enjoying because the environment is quit harmony and silent :)

An 8 hour work schedule which includes an hour for lunch is the best in my opinion. It enables you to have time for your family, and other personal activities. If you work for more than 8 hours, your day becomes a mess. But on some occasions, you really cannot avoid it :(

Yeah right, especially for single person like me and many others out there. For me, i just lose my social time if i took overtime, but then it will finish my work earlier. Sounds good :)

whenever i am bored or just don't have the mood to do much work then i'll be impatiently waiting for 5pm! unless i am tied up with work and have things to be completed then i'll stayback to finish up my work.
