daniel dae kim is fluent in english...
jin can speak english but he said that he understand english very much...

have made sense to hire him otherwise. Now,

i've seen daniel dae kim as guest in other shows, it seems weird to hear him speak english lol...

I've been thinking of that for some time now
and believe that he does speak English both
in real life and on the show.
First, in real life, it wouldn't make sense
to hire someone who only spoke Korean. They
would've hired another actor like the one who
plays Sun, who speaks both English and Korean.
As far as the show goes. It would be a great
story line for him to pretend not to know English.
This way, people would talk around him without
knowing he knows what they're saying. So yes, I
think he secretly knows English on the show.

The actor has said through somebody else that he didn't know English when he started the show and the lady on the show that plays his wife has been teaching him English. He can speak some English now, but the show has been on several years. I think its great that we are seeing him use some English on the show.

no, he is trying to learn now with his wife and Sawyer was helping him on the last episode, but I don't think he knows it & is hiding it like Sun did. He didn't want to learn it at first either, always giving Sun a hard time.
