I love to have a muffin for breakfast and love many kinds. My favorite is cinnamon raisin, but this morning had a banana muffin. What kind do you enjoy and do you make them or buy them at a local store?

I love the banana chocolate chip muffins they sell where I work, especially when they're freshly made. Mmm mmmm! Yummy! I also like "fruit explosion" muffins from Tim Hortons here in Canada. They are fruit muffins with fruit sauce or jam in the centre. Delicious!

I had never hear of a fruit explosion muffin. Would like to know what kind of fruit is in it? Thanks for the reply.

I don't have muffins often, but when I am at Perkin's (a restaurant chain in the U.S.) I always get one of their giant blueberry muffins. I don't particularly like the big crystalized sugar that they put on them, but other than that they are delicious, warmed with butter......

A few of my friends have mentioned this place for muffins. Its not located in my area. I would love to try one. I'm not thrilled to hear they put sugar on top, but a little sugar won't harm me. Thanks for the reply.

I like lemon poppyseed muffins a lot, but I really like almost all flavors of muffin except for bran muffins. I don't think I have even tried one before, but it doesn't sound all that good to me. I like to make the muffins that you make out of the package by just adding milk and cooking.

I don't eat muffins regularly but when I do I usually prefer the banana muffins. I'm sure I would love the cinnamon ones if they just didn't have the raisins :) I usually make them. My daughter likes the banana and carrot ones and, like me, she likes them smaller than the ones that we buy, so when we want some we make them ourselves to make them the size we like .

I have been making smaller muffins, as its easier than cutting the big ones in half. Several years ago, I purchased mini pans and they are helpful in my weight loss, as I am eating smaller amounts now. Thanks for the reply.

I love butter also. When I was a young person, I would churn it and it sure was worth it when eating it.

I can't decide which is my actual favorite. I definitely enjoy a good blueberry muffin, but also love banana nut muffins and can't resist a pumpkin muffin.

They sound like great choices right now, as I'm trying to lose a few pounds and still have a nice filling muffin at breakfast time.

I am a big fan of muffins too, and there are very few kinds that I really do not like. I really do not have just one favorite though. Some of my favorite flavors include chocolate chip, blueberry, raspberry and pumpkin and double chocolate. I really could not pick just one of them though.

I love anything with apple and cinnamon. Maybe it's my craving for apple pie,but if they made a muffin with those ingredients, I'd happily drive ten miles to buy one!

I love muffins too! Since im a chocaholic i'd have to stick to double chocolate muffins (chocolate AND chocolate chips) and blueberry muffins. Im not a big fan of store bought muffins so i make sure i always have a stack of fresh muffins in my house. So, anyone craving a muffin is always welcome in my house ;)
