I do bake, especially during these colder seasons as using the oven helps to heat up the house. My mother always made homemade breads, even when we lived in the sweltering heat of panama - I never grew tired of that lovely aroma of yeast breads. I do make a lot of homemade breads but I cheat somewhat, I use my bread machine to do the mixing and kneeding for me, then I shape it and bake it in the oven. Maybe in the summer I will use the machine for baking as well, because of the high humidity here I do not like to use my oven at all in the summer.

Yes I am always baking all of the time I find. If I am not baking cookies, I am baking muffins, or I am even baking things such as cakes or sometimes no bake cookies, among other goods. I find I bake quite often because it's a great stress reliever for me. I love baking as it helps me to get my mind off of things for a few hours as well.
I have never made my own bread, I have purchased it instead & make it in my oven. I would love to create my own bread though sometimes as I find there is nothing more delicious then your own home made bread. But I do purchase already made bread & will bake it in the oven. And then when it is close to done I will take some margarine & I will take a brush & brush some margarine on the bread as well. It makes it taste ever more delicious I find by doing this! Is it difficult to make home made bread?
I love baking cookies a large majority of the time. I find they are my specialty quite honestly. If I am not baking chocolate chip cookies, I will turn to instead baking peanut butter cookies or even oatmeal cookies. I find each time I bake cookies that they don't last all to long. They are eaten so fast. Or even when company comes over sometimes they will ask to take some home with them.
I don't mind having to bake things all over again though. As it gives me something to do all day long. And it helps to release a lot of the stress I may be feeling at that current time. I also love creating new desserts for the people whom I love. I usually bake quite often so that my other half has things to take with him for lunch. I know that he much rather prefers my baked goods compared to a lot of the things that are store bought. He finds the things I bake to be so much more fresh compared to store bought baked goods.
I couldn't imagine not baking at least one thing a week. I love baking so much & having fresh baked goods on the table for company or even for my other half to take for lunch. I also love how it's kind of a stress reliever for me.. If I am wanting to just escape reality for a bit I find baking is the thing to turn to.. To do so.. I love decorating the desserts or baked goods I make as well. I love being able to create my own unique design on my own. I also love using different types of icings on the baked goods I make to.
In conclusion.. I do indeed bake. Quite often actually. I love baking & having fresh baked goods being served straight from the oven. I love being able to bring a smile to my other half's face or company when they taste the baked goods I have helped to create. It makes me happy knowing I was the one who brought that smile to there face! . .
Thanks for allowing me to share! xx

I bake all of the time. Cookies, cakes, pies, and breads. I love baking. There is something relaxing about it. I have been busy as well and have not baked as much as I would like too. At Christmas time my kitchen is turned into a bakery. I give all of my neighbors, family, and friends baked goods. They love them and I save some money.

I love to bake. I don't work so I have plenty of time to experiment. I just hate cleaning up the mess that I usually make. The kitchen is spotless by the time my hubby comes home from work. I make 2 loaves of bread each and every week. I just love the smell of it!
