Does crying mean your a wimp?

Crying does not mean you are a wussy or a wimp at all. I think it is totally natural for all people to cry. I think it is just that men are taught pretty much to be manly and by doing so you aren't supposed to cry or shed tears. I don't see anything wrong with crying, when it comes from a man unless it gets to dramatic and emotional worse than a woman. I really cannot see a man crying more often or as often as a woman does. Then there may be somewhat of a problem with the man and his inner self feelings. I think men can hold back their emotions better than women do for some reason. If my feelings get hurt, it is natural for me to cry but not every time it happens.

No way unless you cry over everything and anything. But it doesn't make you a wimp everyone cries sometime

It's far easier for women to cry because it's more accepted in society, for a man to be seeing crying it is still frowned upon and most of us were told as children that boys shouldn't cry. So men tend to bottle up feelings more, which is not good. I wish I could cry more but I can't and find it very very difficult to let go. It is not wimp or should not be seen wimpish to cry but it's hard to let go of what has been installed in us as children.

No! A boy who cries is not a wimp. A boy who cries has, thankfully, not listened to the crap that people spout about boys and crying! A boy who is capable of crying is one who can feel emotions, is caring, and empathetic. It is in no way a sign of weakness. I would much rather be with a man who can care enough about others to cry than a man who is so cold-hearted that he is callous and doesn't cry.
