My worst week ever!!!!

I just want to sit down and cry! First, I found out that my battery on my laptop was dead, and I have to get a new battery (lowest cost I've found so far about $50). Then I find my daughter's new iPod (that she got for her birthday) in the washing machine - after the wash! I dropped my cell phone on the tile floor and now it doesn't work. Then I walk into the computer room and the monitor on my desktop is fried!!! To top it all off, my oldest daughter had all four of her wisdom teeth out today - she's moving this weekend - and her vacuum cleaner broke!!!!! Then I get home from helping her pack, and the rack over our washer/dryer that we hang clothes on has pulled out of the wall!!!!! I GIVE UP!

Whoa!!!!! I really don't know what to say.
I've never heard of anyone having such a
week as this one. You have my sympathy.
I wouldn't even begin to suggest what to
do because I'm afraid it too will backfire.
I will give one suggestion despite it all.
Kick back in a nice soothing bubble bath
with scented candles and music. Lay back
and read a good book you've been meaning
to read.
However, be careful. Make sure there's nothing
flammable around or anything electric that could
fall in the tub. And whatever you do, don't fall
asleep. ‹(°¿°)›

are a lot mellower these days. Glad to
know you didn't blow yourself up. lol

I'm sorry your having a bad week and hope next week is better. Its terrible when bad things happen all at once. I hope that your daughter has settled into her new place now.

Yikes! Sounds as if all the technology in your life rebelled! Maybe Uranus was squaring Mercury or something like that. I'm sure you don't want to hear a bunch of cliches right now - like, it gets better or tomorrow's a new day. Jeez, though, really all you can do after a day like that is climb into your coziest pajamas, make a mug of something warm and preferably chocolate and snuggle up with a Danielle Steele novel. I don't normally read D. Steele but her heroines always have hard and horrible challenges which they overcome with dignity and strength. Of course, they are uniquely beautiful and find true love. The trick is to find a calm space for your frazzled nerves and if you can't find one, make one. Don't toss and turn all night because you are going to need your strength to face it all tomorrow. It does no good to fret and despair, you won't find any solutions that way. Close your eyes and imagine yourself outside of the whirlwind. Calm, DJ, calm. Just like one of Ms. Steele's heroines, you are beautiful, you are smart and you will prevail. One step at a time, one challenge at a time, you'll work your way through.

Thank you so much for your words of support. And I really am much calmer now. In fact, now I can laugh about it! I've already replaced the monitor and ordered a new cell phone. My daughter had her wisdom teeth out with no complications, which is a real blessing. She has had a lot of dental problems lately. My husband fussed about the clothes rack but then got it fixed. So, working my way through it all!
