A question for the at-home moms...of the chores that fall to you to be done, which is your least favorite?
I H8 doing laundry. It takes way too long. It's never really finished & done. And there's way too many "steps" to it; bring it downstairs, sort it all out, pre-treat, wash, dry, iron, fold, blah-blah-blah- it NEVER ends. I joke to myself that at least I don't have to take it down to the river & wash it with a couple rocks!

Oh the horror!!! I know exactly what you mean. I HATE laundry. I have to go to a laundromat. And I live on the second floor. No elevator.
It is such a chore for me. It takes forever and you are absolutely right - it is never done. Never!!
You are so right - I am just as happy that I don't have to beat my clothes on a rock!!

Dish washing is one the few areas I am really wasteful & anti-environmental with. I don't soak my dishes except the occasional burnt pan. I wash with running water & a sponge. Probably wasting gallons & gallons of water everyday. But putting my hands in a gross sink and risking cutting my finger on a knife I don't know is under something, isn't worth it to me. I find the running water relaxing & peaceful. And at least with the dishes, there is a point where they are all done & that's it for the moment.
