when my husband and i went to visit with my mom last night- she pulled out these old postcards we found when my grandmother passed away- i had forgotten about them. The are anywhere from 30-100 years old, some are sets, some are of old building that don't exist anymore, some are 3D from the 40's, some are even made of leather. Theya re in great shape and we had thought to take them to the antique road show a few years back but one has not come through here...anyone have any suggestions (besides ebay). My mom was offered 50 cents per - but i know they are worth more then that to the right person.

I collect postcards, new, old, classic, whatever. I love postcards, love letters everything. Your best bets in having these appraised properly would be to contacting a local museum (sometimes they have a paper display that will of course have an expert who can point you in the right direction). You can contact your local university and you want to speak to the Library Research department, and of course there are the antique/rare book dealers. I hope that helps! I wouldn't mind seeing pictures of them. I'm a post card freak!!
