It's cold. Not freezing, or blustery, or oh my goodness why did I move to the north cold. It's just cold. For me that's almost the worse kind of cold. Freezing you can prepare for but cold sneaks in, a thief that drains your...

ehlana88 You are the opposite of Jimbo! He hibernates and you power up. I am solar powered so I feel weaker and more tired in the winter but as the sun comes out more and gets stronger so does my internal battery

ehlana88 That's awesome! For my roadtrip next month I have the entire collection of The Lord of the Rings Saga on audiotape as a gift from a friend. So I'm thinking that will well and truly cover many hours.

ehlana88 Well keep it up and I'm sure you will. Sometimes I think my books breed when I'm not looking! I certainly don't remember the purchase of each one at this point.

I was talking to my boyfriend tonight about bowling. Everyone has their own approach to the lane and a method to release the ball. Some people do what he calls the Flintstone bowling. That's sorta where you run or tiptoe...

ehlana88 Never thought of bowling as a release but I can totally see it. Around here we go to bowling as a hang out, a get to know you sort of deal. We find its a great way to keep people at a comfortable area while they get to know large groups of people.

ehlana88 I've discovered if i put it on the roof of my mouth and only occassionally flick it around its not so bad. I've only been using max 5 lozenges a day so I'm thinking I'm doing good. Test will be today because I'm actually going out where I conceivably purchase...

A question for both genders. Ladies. How do you feel about changing your name to your husband's, if he has an ex wife (or more) who has that name? I didn't believe in the tradition of name change to begin with, but even if...

ehlana88 See that's the reason people feel so disconnected. Why is chatting up someone at the supermarket a bad idea? If someone can't reach a shelf or is struggling trying to pick the right one why not talk to them? Most of my friends that I count as close and lovely...

ehlana88 I'm all for to each their own but as it happens all too often. Things get replaced and some things just shouldn't. Like letters. Now all you get are catalogues, bills, and junk mail. I miss letters.

We have a separate freezer we use to store meat. I find that we can do bigger food shopping's and stock up on meat for the month. Do you use a separate freezer to store you meat? Do you think its a good idea?

ehlana88 We have a freezer for meat. We tend to buy in large bulk quantities once a month. Or we'll go to the butcher and get like 40 lbs of chicken or half a steer or something. So the meat goes in there. Then we only need to resupply what we use.
