It is spring break for me, and i want to lose weight.

I am hoping that we have warm weather, I will walk the dogs more, eat fresh fruits and veggies more, and drink low-fat milk to get my calcium for my bones. I don't even bother making this a new year resolution, more like a "new season" resolution.

I wish you luck my dear. It is hard to diet and loose, but, if you want too, I know you can do it. So, set your goals and go for it. Let us know how you make out. Walking, veggies, lots of water, and no snacking should do it for you.

It is autumn here, and I also need to loose weight. I have just become treasurer of our local weight watchers club. For me, it is similar, fruit and veges and salad, particularly the latter. But also I need more will power, no sweets. Walking is also good. Good luck with your weight loss. Maybe we can share ideras and motivation.

I think you just got yourself some motivation, by becoming an officer in the club. Good luck to you, and all my other friends like me who need to lose.

Good Luck with your resolution! Hope all goes as per your wish. I am also planing some spring activities, but it seems that I have to wait more. Still it's cold here. I hope it will not be that long wait for me.

Spring and fall is, for me, the best time of the year to do things outdoors. It gets way too hot and humid in Georgia during the summer.

I wish you luck. But my advice, is that the more you sacrifice, the better results you'll get. Why being happy with just walking some more, or drinking low fat milk when you can do so much? Try eating less food at lunch, and only fruits at dinner. Going for morning walks, etc.

You can do it! I love Spring. it's my favorite time of the year. I love to watch the new baby animals coming, and the flowers bloom into their pretty colors.

I am going to do the same, but I have a few more months to go until the summertime. Until then, the weather is still very wet and cold, so I can cover up the bulges with my heavy coat. Good luck with your diet and exercise.

Good for you..! I've been 'wanting' to try for some time now; we're going to Las Vegas, April 3rd, on CJ's spring break from school. I had wanted to have lost at least 20 lbs. by now, but...not! When we get back I'll be doing the same, except I don't have a dog; I'll drink more of my green tea, eat right and eat only a few bites when hungry. Good luck and I know you'll do it. I'll let you know how I'm doing and visa versa...

I hope you are having nice weather so you can do all the things that you want to do. The dog probably will enjoy walking more. Spring has not arrived here yet but I keep dreaming. I am so sick of winter. Good luck with your goal.

That's a great resolution. I have trouble with the New Year's resolution anyway, the weather is so cold and dreary. But when the sun starts coming out and warming up and everything getting green and beautiful again, THAT will perk me up and motivate me. Good luck :)
