Bird flu - are you afraid?

An 11-year-old Indonesian boy has died of bird flu. His death was the country's 53rd from the virus. Are you afraid that it will spread and become an epedemic?

There is far too much scaremongering by the media, a couple of years ago SARs was going to kill us all.

I don't think it will. They are usually right on top of things like that. Well at least I hope they are!

I'm still waiting for the killer bees to come and get me too....
No I do not think it will become a world-wide epidemic. I think the news was needing some new thing to spook us with and grab our attention so they focused on the bird flu...which isn't all too common a thing to be tranferred from one entity to another contagiously ..the fear has been that it would adapt and become like such but why suddenly fearing the bird flu now like that? could choose any number of odd diseases and create the same scare because someone in the world has caught it...
