dandruff is caused by bacteria in our head. Usually dandruff occurs when our skin gets dry. sometimes the cause of dandruff is the shampoo or conditioner we use. Our scalp is not used with these kind of products therby causing an allergic reactions and will eventually dry up and produce flaking. Dermatolgists also said that cause of dandruff are fungus. Hope i everything here is right. Keep posting and Goodluck!

Sometimes dandruff can be a fungal infection, and sometimes it is just buildup from hair care products or from not brushing the hair vigorously. I have heard that Listerine, a mouthwash from the United States, works very well to get rid of it.

When I was younger the only time I had dandruff was when my scalp would get sunburned or I wouldn't shower enough. Another thing that causes dandruff is being dehydrated so drink a lot of water and shower every day with a moisturizing shampoo/conditioner (or one for dandruff).

Dandruff is a form of skin inflammation. When the scalp becomes very dry these cells come out. Flaking happens to anybody from infants to old age people. It varies from individual to individual. For some due to dryness ,so for them if they apply oil and have shower regularly it will be fine. For some it maybe due to some infection or fungus which has to be treated by dermatologist.
