what do you think of plastic surgery? NOT only for celebrities.

I would like to have plastic surgery.
I am not horribly overweight. I am actually pretty average.
I am a mom of seven kids...but I no longer have the belly I once had.
Having children seems to stretch a woman out and it does not always go back the way it should.
And I probably would not care...if I knew my partner did not care.
Well, he does not come out and say anything. But when I know he looks at pictures of other women...it can really make a person self conscious.
As a society are we fixated on looks? Very much so. And it is very sad.
Love our imperfections...that sure would be nice. But with the media that we have now...imperfections are a thing of the past. Computer enhancements have come a long way!

I personally think we shouldn't alter what is naturally a gift of God. Nobody is perfect but if we can't love ourselves then we can't love others. I have imperfections too and love the way I am. I wouldn't change a thing just to please others. The only thing I've thought about is a lipo but I know I would never get it done. It looks worthwhile but maybe it just isn't. I'd rather work out and watch what I eat to get rid of the flab.

I tall depends for what it is. If it is for a genuine defect that is really affecting the person or after burns etc I don't think it'ssuch a bad thing but when people get obsessed and have operation after operation, year in , year out to have a jeniffer lopez butt or a marylin monroe booob then i think it is taken too far. Everything has a limit and spending thousands on making myself look like a plastic barbie i think is a waste of money..Just my two cents that's all.

well as far as a nose job or anything like that NO. i how ever have thought about a tummy tuck. i have had 3 kids and can lose the wight but my skin is so streched out there is no fixing it with diet and exercise. it looks nasty, and i would like to look the way i did before i had kids but i am sure i never will.
we should be happy with ourselves but not many people are. its hard to find clothes that look ok now a days that aren't for a size 0. it is mostly for small woman and what you do find half your crap is hanging out i like to be covered.
so i think we do worry and i think with the way things are today we think we have to.
