Mylot.......About more than Money.........

Oh yea? I seem to be getting in at the wrong end. Everyday when I log in and look at my email notifications, I keep seeing my discussions being ripped. They are either copied and paraphrased, or taken up from another angle. Oh boy, I am not complaining. I am still trying to get used to it. :P

Yes, I quite agree with you and the beliefs of people differ so much, giving responses a wide variation. There are some very nice people here, in Mylot... I've made a few really good friends and other, humorous friends, who give me a laugh and a bit of a lift. I love this site. Thank you for this discussion Ironstruck... it looks as though something like seventy seven and a half internet users are in agreement with you. Brightest Blessings.

Exactly. I saw that light bulb go off too. You darn near blinded me, lol. That is what older members like myself have been trying to get some of the newer ones to see. It is more than the money that makes myLot great. It is about the freedom of expression, respect, and building community. I have gotten so frusterated lately because so many people are only here for a quick buck. Granted the earnings are nice...they are a nice reward, but that isn't what I like the most about myLot. I like building friendships, having intelligent discussions on a wide variety of subjects, and helping others. That's what it's about. I am so glad you have seen these qualities in myLot as well. Welcome and happy posting.

that is so true what you say. it helps us to see different ways of thinking, so it opens our minds, we can share our thoughts or pains, happiness and tears, we get to know much more about other countries and habits than you can think of. the money is just a lil dessert here.

Agree with you mate. I enjoy the freedom of expression and the thought-provoking discussions here. And the community is great! I look forward to posting here everyday. The various issues open for discussions here suit me - exactly the type of issues I'd like to respond to. I'm here not so much for the money, but for the community feeling. MyLot rocks!

I had also a similar querry to people here in myLot... "If they are here just for the money". In fact, it is the first discussion or querry that I posted here being a new member here. And from the response that I got, it seems that money is just secondary. It is the ideas and point of view of others that you learn as well as the friendship that you gain here which is more important, plus the fact that you can write about what you feel and share your ideas and points of view meaningfully to others is a great opportunity here.

Yes my lot is very good for promoting good discussion. I like your style. I like what you write about. I hope you had the opportunity to look at some of the discussions I have written about as well.

That's right ironstruck, there is definitely more to myLot than just the money. When I first joined it was for the money though I had no idea how much money I would make. It could me a week or two to fully understand what was happening here. That's when I realized myLot is more about having fun and letting loose our creative side. I like to read and write and this is the best place to be. I'm happy I came across myLot by accident and since then there hasn't been a day without logging onto myLot. If we count the cents then we won't enjoy our experience here. It's best to have fun here and the money comes by itself.:)

myLot SHOULD be about more than money. However, it seems as though a lot of the people are only here for the little bit of casht hey recieve for posts and therefore "spam" a lot and repeat things others have said. i personally come here to have my voice heard. The money is just a plus...and i haven't even gotten a paymnt yet...just wait till the first one coms and see how much i will love this place.

I just say....Good idea is useful here.
