I try to acknowledge the response whenever possible since I do not post that much discussions such that I am overwhelmed. At times, I am really out of comments :P I used rating as an indicator that I have read the response.

I try to answer each response, or at least give them a rating. There have been a few people that I did not respond to. This was either because they were being abusive, or I just didn't have an answer for them. It's against Mylot policy to just say "thank you" and if I don't have an answer, I don't respond. But, I would say that about 98% of the people that respond to my discussions receive a comment.

sometimes i don't have an answer and it is against myloy policy to just say thank you,but you know what if mylot can't accept it's just manners to thank someone for a response then it's a bad day.I'll just keep on thanking people for their response even if i don't have an answer

Yes, I acknowledge all my responses. Isn't that the idea of a discussion forum, to keep the discussion rolling around? I go back to my discussions every time I'm notified by e-mail of a response. I acknowledge them and rate them with a + if I feel they're thoughtful and helpful responses which will start a good discussion rolling. I love the interaction of discussions. It's a far better way of gaining knowledge and insight into other people's opinions than a Question/Answer forum. Brightest Blessings.

I always make it a point to read all the responses my discussions get.Yes,I rate all responses that I receive.I try to comment to as many responses as I can .I also look at the comments I get when I respond to someone's discussion. It always helps me learn something new.Sometimes, when I am tired I might respond to the person's discussions instead of commenting to his response.

MyLot have specifically asked us to provide well thought out quality respones and comments. If you are unable to do this ...move on. It's quite silly to comment on each response with just a few words or a thankyou. If you're an original poster, you don't earn anything from it and if you're not the original poster it's just a waste of everyone's time. Unless you have something of substance to add to the discussion just rate it. The way we are meant to respond to each and every person is to rate their response. If this isn't clear, please read the guidelines.

sorry i thought this was a bit of a discussion site.how you meant to discuss things if you don't give responses no matter how small or unimportant they are?In my small humble opion it's only manners even just to say thanks but i was brought up with manners. So if MYLOT don't like me doing this they can contact me through my e-mail

I don't always comment on the responses for the same reasons as mentioned by others already. Since MyLot specifically asks us not to respond by simply thanking members for their responses, unless I have something more to say, there is no need for further comments. I do rate responses to my discussions though, whether or not I leave a comment.
