I spotted a user yesterday and who is merrily copying part of the discussions he is responding to and pasting it as his own response. I reported him but nothing is done about it yet.
He had around 30 posts last night and now he is up to 203, would you believe that! Every single post is copy/pasted and nothing original at all.
I'm really mad now and want everybody to know about this user. He is now scandalizing my friends' discussions. Here is the link, check the discussions replied to and see for yourself. PLEASE REPORT THIS USER NOW! Phew, I've never used all caps here before but now I'm really really mad.

We have to put a stop to this guy so please check your discussions to see if he has been there. Report him immediately.
It is not allowed to create discussions pointing to users, but this cheater deserves all the attention he can get..lol..let's kick him out! I don't mind if this discussion gets deleted as long as that cheater is out.
Note to myLot admin: I couldn't help but warn other users about this cheater.

Ok, as I said, he hit byfaithonly discussions hard, nearly everyone of them from what I can tell - this may have stemmed from the fact that the jerk requested friendship and I denied it. Oh well, glad I did at this point. Best we can do at this point is wait on myLot as I know a couple have reported him and his activities are so obvious. It's annoying and ticked me off but he will be dealt with and I am sure will not receive any payment - I have been watching and his count has not changed since he was reported this morning. Maybe just taking a break but I hope he's done with me and is stopped soon.

I also went through and make reports on it. I am sure that as obvious as it is, they will remove them o his score. One thing is for sure, he isn't getting paid.

Good glad you cought the b_gger lol and I am sure Mylot will do something about iut. Why should he get paid for cheating when we are working off our proverbial to write original texts? I spend a good few hours every day on Mylot..now I must go and do some errands or nothing will get done lol..See you later..

Well I have just looked and my goodness I can not believe what this Person is doing, I will keep a look out for him and I have reported him to as it is not on what he is doing. He is collecting Money that he is not entitled to.

Shoot he has the same user name as Lnaghua my friend..who poor thing DOES make discussions of his own because I always tried to post to help him out and encourage him with his english..Oh Dear..

Sorry to hear someone is being so silly as to copying and pasting your responses elsewhere, I guess they have nothing better to do and they don't realise that cheaters get caught and any "pennies" he/she has accumulated will be deducted once myLot cotton on to what he/she has done! There really is no point to this weird behaviour, it's certainly not in keeping with the spirit of the site and I hope myLot takes the required action asap. x

This, I think, is the second discussion I have read about other mylot users who copy paste other's discussions. And I just don't totally UNDERSTAND why these people have to do that? Don't they have any mouth to speak up? I mean, we are all doing our part in our own creative ways. Duh! I hope mylot will really do something about these people. :)

well he feels that he is very smart...and very soon mylot is going to block him,i am sure..maybe he doesnt speak english and he is not able to write a post...my english is very bad ,but i still trying to write good posts:)

I just sent a message to MyLot regarding this person. I went through nearly all of the discussions he responded to and found he had done the same with all of them. Hopefully we will get this one cleared soon.

Amen. Luckily I haven't noticed him in my discussions. Whew! Gonna check later tonight though. Glad to see those who have are reporting him. Thanks all. WE as members ned to keep this site clear of members like this one. Thanks again all for helping to keep my MyLot a good place to be.

I reported him today about 4 times. I checked his rsponses on his profile and if you look how he will take one user and answer all the open hiscussions one after another then move on to someone else and do the same thing

i'm not sure, but why does this matter to you so much? i mean, you still make the same amount of money right? mylot makes more money with more users so why would they really care to do anything?

thanks for this very helpful alert, greengal. I did check that guy out and was surprised to see more than two hundred posts with none of them as his discussion started...that's pretty unusual.. I haven't encountered this guy though coz he isn't in my friends' list... am glad I didn't.. and hope mylot admin will take appropriate action for this guy who tend to mess up mylot itself.

well he's cheating and we'd like to ban him ...yup I agree, but one thing i'd like to mention. how many guys u think are'nt doing this. Welcome to the internet :) .
think this responsibility lies a lot with the siteadmins. Case in point - there was a similar blogging hunt going on for ibibo - and most people started putting trackbacks and links to their blog/post/comment thru various other places like blogrolls and university homepages etc. Its a very common thing actually. Has to be the site admins to take care of this. rest of us can only do so much...

That is true, but on other forums may be it goes unnoticed but on myLot where there are so many users who are vigilant and care for the site's quality. Mylot is alert and spots such users too but at the same time mylot relies on users to send in reports when they come across cheaters and spammers. We are simply assisting mylot in taking the necessary action.
