I myself find Carl Jung and Ken Wilber to be not only interesting people but wise souls as well. I have found that Carl Jung expanded my view on the human mind and Ken Wilber is constantly expanding my world view. Im interested in discussing any type of spirituality and psychology. I look forward to getting to know you like minded others!!

I know nothing about Wilber, I know a tiny little bit about Jung and I'll love to learn more about him. Did he say that people's consciousness is interconnected?

Hi Sanglant!! I too only know a bit about Jung but I enjoy his psychological belief system and I find it parralels my own in many ways. I think what you are referring to is what Jung called the "collective unconscious", where there are concepts like archetypes out there in the back of our minds..passed on culurally and symollically from one generation to the next and that we are all influenced by these archepyes unscounsciously. For example..the archetype of the "mother"...we have ideas in our head about what a "good mother" is and what a "bad mother" is..and we are unconsciously affectedt o behave in these subconsciou ways.... I know I'm being too simplistic in my response but it is a pretty complicated and all inclusive concept. I would love to explore Jung more in depth with you and anyone else who is interested. I hope you had a good day :o) Mithrae

My own spirituallity I think everyone needs to find it themselves for it to be true and honost. The others are just guides no matter who you follow you need to find your own spirituality inside of you.

I agree with you EvanHunter, people need to find their own meaning...I believe there is only one G-d, Great Mystery, whatever you want to call your belief and that it doesn't matter what name you use to describe your belief..it's enough that you believe :o) So how do you find your spirituality being threaded through your day to day life? :o) Mithrae

Ken Wilber and Carl Gustav Jung are both forerunners of human spiritual transformation in the 20th century but during different periods of time certainly. Jung for the archetypes of the personal and collective unconscious and Ken Wilber as the person of a unified world view.
