Why do people judge what people can do by what qualifications they have? i know many people who made a success with no qualifications. some without full highschool. what do you think?

sanglant Well, my opinion is based on what I think is the general trend today. I'm sure there are exceptions especially if one is very competent in their job despite not having enough formal qualification. And it will be a lot more different if one has already had lots...

As a non native speaker, I found reading the translation of non english world literature is easier than original english literature, maybe because the translator might simplified things while translating ... What do you think?

sanglant I agree with you that government should provide infrastructure and job but I also think that houses are important too, it's one of human basic needs. You can't expect someone to be able to work and make a living if his/her basic needs aren't fulfilled.

I have known a lot of people who love to shop. They will even buy stuff that they don't need just because thay are on sale. I think this is a total waste of money. Also, the items on sale are not always in good shape or good...

sanglant Well, it takes extra effort to get a good sale item, but it worths it I think. I have always bought sale items myself but I don't really buy things that I don't or never need, so it also depends on whether you need will need it or not.

sanglant German is interesting because of their culture, I think. But it seems that chinese is much on demand now, and if you're already fluent in chinese, spanish might be an interesting option since it's widely spoken in the states; french is like second to english...

sanglant I guess the government's job is to prevent that volcano to erupt, while the ones who are in the race to earn money are more likely to be the big businesses. Unfortunately many government don't or can't prevent that eruption due to many things. To remove...
