How did you meet your spouse/significant other? Was it dreadfully romantic and special? Or just in the course of everyday events? I met my husband when I was a preschool teacher for his son. Yes, the one I can't seem to understand, get along with and keep praying will move out. He was cute when he was 4. Not so much at 19. Anyway, his ex told me he thought I was cute. I started talking to him and then we took the kid to the zoo and haven't been apart since then(except for one small indiscretion on his part). We got married one year later.

Hello there! I met my girlfriend in a Mirc chat room (roughly three and a half years ago). :D Our relationship as "sweethearts" will be turning three years this April. I met her during a trivia contest in a chat room. We are literally beating each other's guts out. We're in a constant battle at that trivia channel. At times she gets the better of me but often find herself at my mercy. lol. Trivia adversaries turned friends. Friendship turned to chat-mates then text-mates then phone pals. :) And later on, we finally get to meet each other here in Manila. And we're still together until now. We're keeping our chat messages and cellphone text messages (written in each of our private notebooks) until now.. And when we have time, or whenever we fill like it, we browse thru our notebooks and have the fun of our life giggling over those silly messages we have for each other. :D

My Husband and I met at K-Mart! I kid you not. My best friend at the time worked there and we stopped by one friday so she could pick up her paycheck. While we were there she introduced me to (as she explained it) "the new, hot guy that started yesterday". It was love at first sight and in 22 years of marriage, he is still my blue-light special! :)

We met through a mutual friend. We just met as friends and hung out as friends. Didn't give it much thought until we both realized we liked being together and wanted to make a relationship of it. We got married a few months later. That was over 23 years ago.

Did you marry your first love? If not, what happened. Do you like to discuss?

To begin with , I am delighted to see a harmonious family. It's dreadfully romantic for you to know your spouse and then compose a cute family. But thinking about myself , I am heart-struck.so far , I have not met my girlfriend even a kinda significant person. And I am 22 years old,so I reckon my life as unsuccessful or dull life. That's a bit away from the point to talk this.

I was managing a store when I got a call from an employee I didn't know. They said they would be late at best. They couldn't get their garage door open. I just laughed. When she came in, I found out who she was and kidded her about it. We became friends and I usually gave her a ride home after work because she didn't drive and her aunt who she lived with was disabled and couldn't drive most of the time. She had her name put in for a job at General Motors and she finally got hired. I didn't see her any more until one night about 3:30am in the morning I got a call from her. She didn't have a ride home and I went to pick her up. We went to breakfast and dated for several weeks. She broke it off until about three months later when she called me up and asked me to go on a picnic. We have been together every since. . your friend

Well, my hubby and I met one day when a few friends and I went out to the movies. I lived on base at the time and my shipmates all wanted to see a movie together. The girls all walked to the guys place and met up with them. Everyone in the command was new cause the ship was just being built so we did not know everyone yet. This guy I had never met before tagged along with the rest of us. It was awhile before the movie started so we all played in the arcade. I stopped playing and the tag along came and sat next to me. Then we started talking about Disney and hit it off from there. The next night we went out on our first offical date and ten years later we are still together.

My husband and I both met at our first duty station when we were in the Army. He was a new person in our company and I was his guide showing him around. We worked together for about a year, with me as his boss, before we started dating. We were friends and coworkers first, and then got to know one another a lot better and fell in love. He's the most wonderful and loving person I've ever met.

I met my husband through a blind date set for us by a common friend. It was attraction at first sight (I wouldn't say love, because some might be skeptical)and everything started from there. That one day meeting followed by a series of letters (because he is a seaman) culminated in a wedding a year after. That's why I don't but the long engagement crap because when you don't get to live together, both of you will always put your best foot forward. My husband is the same man I met...and we have been married ten years this coming April 16.

Lucky for me it was timing that made the course of our interaction. I met my sweety online. We both knew each other when we were children, then our parents moved to one area and her parents moved to another. 20 years later I find her through my sister. She was on MSN trying to find her, and she did. Then she notified me - I got her Username and we hit it off like two peas on a pod. We got to talking, then talking got to more talking, and even on the phone then before you know it - she was moving stuff slowly into my apartment. And ever since we have been the best of friends and the best of lovers. She is a real special lady to me and I would never trade her for any one in the world. If your reading this babes, I love you booboo.

At a wedding for a family friend. I was 16, he was 20. I was with my family, he was the escort for the maid of honor (who had major designs on him). We were both bored. So we sat outside and talked 3/4 of the night, went inside, danced for a bit and before I left, I gave him a slip of paper with my number on it. We split up for a few years, he to focus on his career, me to focus on getting my life started, but that was 7 years ago, we're back together, happy as ever, and he's still got that slip of paper.

I met my husband in my cousin sister's marriage. At once glance , he like me on that day. After that he came to my parents to ask for my hand. I was quite happy when he come to ask for my hand. I interviewed him at last we decided to marry. It was not that romantic situation, it was of normal situation.

I met my husband on a blind date. His sister was a buisnees acquaintance of mine...everytime we would see each other she would say "I think you and my brother would hit it off...you should let me introduce you" I kept puting her off, all I could think was "what kinda loser needs his sister to set him up" LOL (hubby knows this btw). This went on for about 6-8 months, finally I agreed to meet him at company function. Let me tell you..I was pleasenty suprised!!! Good looking, friendly, we had lots in common, same age...all the good stuff. Well the poor guy got my name wrong was calling me "Deb" all night and my name is Brenda. I continued to let him call me Deb ...allthough we seemed to hit it off, I was still worried as to why his sister needed to set him up. Finally on our 3rd date I told him my name wasn't Deb. Poor guy was sooooo emberassed (even his friends thought my name was Deb). When he asked why I allowed him to make an A$$ of himself...I told him that I wanted to make sure he wasn't a wierdo I figured if I didn't want to persue a relationship I could make a quick get away...Good luck finding Deb @#$% in the phone book. Well anyway we have been a happy couple every since...now we have to kids and just for laughs he still refers to me as Deb once in awhile!!

My boyfriend and I met in math class. We had to get partners for some word problem and neither of us knew many people and since we were both quiet we kind of naturally grouped together. We started talking about random things and realized that we shared a lot of interests together. We had phy-ed together as well. We became friends and then we both decided to take a science fiction class together. We started dating shortly after that. The rest is history. :)
