I was pretty much a loner in school. I really didn't fit into a certain group. I had so-called friends or acquaintances from all different groups. Alot of them pretended to be my friend but they actually wasn't. I still to this day, do not have any real friends. I had a very hard time associating with alot of people when I was in school because I was really shy and backward. I got tired of alot of kids acting like they liked me and then later they would talk about me. I have one friend now in my life and that is my husband. We do everything together. I have tried to be friends with guys and girls in my adult years but none of them worked out either.

It can be very hard to make friends. I have the same problem and have been a loner most of my life.
I just find that people are just not sincere and finally just gave up.
If you make one REAL friend in your life, consider yourself fortunate..
Even if it is your husband.

I had a group, and it was fun, but there were times when I felt like I didn't really fit in. I always had my own ideas and opinions about things and I never hesitated to express them to my friends. They were really good about it though, they accepted me for who I was and didn't really dwell too much on our differences :)

I was never in a group. I had one or two good friends that I hung out with and that was it. I rather liked high school for that and didn't feel out of place, however I did very much feel out of place in elementary school. I felt like an outsider there.

Being in a special group in high school makes one popular. ANd that's what rampant in high school right? I remember I belong to one of these groups that made up a name in school. We were 8 in all and we are into sports and music. Most of us know how to play musical instruments and all of us are into sports. We became popular in school.
With that group formed a bonding with each other and eventually promised to became pals and friends til life ends. And here we are until now, still together as usual though we only have little time to get to see one another. :)

I was in a group of outsiders. None of us really fit into any of your typical groups. I liked it that way though, made great friends, and that's what counts.
