I hate cooking. But that was before. We have a house helper that does all the cooking for us. But she’s not a good cook either so she always serves us fried dish like fried chicken, pork chops, spare ribs, etc. At first I was just ok with it. We love fried dishes anyway so we never complain. I didn’t realize that there will really come a time when we will really get tired of this fried, easy to cook meals. And since we have no other choice, so I was forced to learn to cook myself. And I just had a realization that cooking is fun. In fact, I’m beginning to love it. Everyday, after work, I look forward to my cooking time. It has become my stress reliever that after a long day from work, I will be able to do something relaxing and something that I love. How about you, do you love to cook or you’re just doing it because you have no choice?

I love to cook, and learnt it only after I got married. I had to learn because I came to the US with my hubby and since it was only the two of us I had no choice..hehe I was surprised to see how well I could cook and I too no longer feel its a chore in fact its my passion now and I plan to pursue a career in the culinary field. :) I am always experimenting with different cuisines.

I was surprised too because I never thought that I can cook well. I’m so happy for you that you already found your passion. I say, go and pursue your career in the culinary field. Nobody fails if they really love what they’re doing. Good luck.

I was on my teen age when I found out my hidden skill in cooking and thank's to my mom who keep praising me for a savory meal I prepared for them. From then on I was one of the few teenagers who was fond of cooking on my free time. I develop that habit and it was one of my forte and I can say that was one of the reason that leads us to continue or legacy in goat menu that's why we recently open a goat stall in the market selling goat menu and meat of goat. My husband was my best customer and eventually he was a best cook too! but when we he is here for a vacation I was the only chief in the kitchen but I gave him some freedom to cook too when I want to taste other delicacy lol!!!

i recently also discovered the joys of cooking! it's so fun to cook especially if you hear from others how yummy your cooking is. i recently made polvoron and leche flan. i was amazed at myself because before, i couldn't even fry an egg! i guess at first it's more of a chore but after a while you will really love it. i know i am!
