Have you ever seen a rainbow in the Arizona Painted Desert? Just about the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.. Or how about the rain coming down thru the tall pines.. Isn't it relaxing.. My husband hates rainy days.. It really depresses him.. I think as the rain washing the earth and making things grow.. I am also a fan of thunder and lightening.. Love em..I can snuggle on the couch and listen to the rain for ever.. My mind relaxs and kinda floats away.. Dreams are made during rainy days for me..And I don't know why but I just gotta cook some cookies or something in the crockpot.. It puts me in lala land just thinking of a rainy day..I can almost see the unicorn and that pot of gold and someday I'm going to get close enough to touch them.. I don't want to take them or keep them just touch and let loose again for the joy of another day.. I guess I'm a dreamer in my other life.. I seem to have many phases to myself.. Beautiful Rainy Days!!!

I do love rain. I always love to get wet n dance in rain, my parents always used to stop me from doing so but the moment they r not around i grab that moment to just enjoy myself. I like dancing in the rain specially. some say that its a bit irritating or the day is v.gloomy but i am fresh n really relaxed n i cook something really hot, i like to eat something really hot at that minute.

I used to live in Arizona so yes, I have seen the Painted Desert both with and without a rainbow. I have seen the Grand Canyon with a rainbow also. I love the sunsets. I don't really care for the rain. It bothers me to have rain hitting the top of my head. And when the cloud cover is too low, it is almost claustrophobic for me. It is raining today here in Michigan and I just want to go to sleep. Everything is a muddy, slushy and dreary mess. So I would have to honestly say that I do not love rain. I cherish and crave open skies and sunshine. I can't get enough sunshine.

Yep, I also love the rain, specially the smell. I don't know, but every time I smell rain coming it always seems to comfort me. I just like it when it drizzles, not the rainstorms. Sometimes, I just want to sit by my window and just watch it. One of the things that I plan to do one of these days...If I ever get out of my busy schedule, is dance in the rain. I used to do it as a child..I just miss those days. *SIGH!*

I hear ya.. Sometimes we let ourselves get so busy we forget to enjoy whats around us.. But try to take the time now and then.. That in itself is renewal!! Besides it will put a smile on peoples faces and they probably need that as much as you do..Tammy

I live in GA, and we get quite some rain. i love it when it rains when you just want to be home alone, and just think about things. It does make you relax and sometimes moody, but i love it. i love the sound of rain dropping and the cool breeze! on rainy days, i keep my window open and listen to calm music and just stare out the window with coffee or hot chocolate! its great~

My niece lives in Georgia and she says the rain is fantastic too.. I've been wanting to make a trip there but I usually wind up going toward AZ,Calif where my husband and I have most of our families.. But anyone that loves the rain has got to understand what I'm talking about.. Its music to my ears thats for sure.. Tammy

I live in central Scotland and we get a lot of rain , but in saying that if we didn't then we wouldn't have all the greenery and all the magnificent Lochs , I like in the house on a rainy day in the winter though ( like today) and it's all nice and cosy xx

I love the rain only minimally...I don't like having downpours often because I know there are lots of people who have no homes suffering from the cold when it rains. Nope I have never seen a rainbow in the Arizona Painted Desert but I would love to see it someday.

I love the rain but I hate driving in it. Here in Florida we get some wicked rain storms where you literally can't see a few inches in front of you. It's a total trip though because in a few minutes the sun comes back and you would have never guessed it was raining a few minutes earlier. I do love going out in the rain when it's a cool misty rain. My little 2 year old gets a kick out of it. That's the best rain for me!

You can smell the rain coming before the dust storm. The dust storm comes through and the rain cleans the air. I have done that. I have danced in the rain after a very hot day. It is an awesome experience.

Yup..It does bring back the memories.. And I think thats just what we do in Az..Dance/play/rejoice in the rain..Its deffinently a beautiful thing there..But then alot of people don't see the beauty of the desert and you have to understand that to understand how much to appreciate the rain..

I do love the rain, but not when its thundering and lightnening. I have an above ground pool and when the light mists come down in the summer its the best time for swimming. The kids just think of it as being able to play in the rain. I think of it as one of the most relaxing times ever. Or try walking in the warm air with the cool rain falling on you. I live in S. Carolina and the weather here is great, especially in the summertime.

I have a friend that has family there so she goes every summer.. She's told me how beautiful it is there.. I want to visit so bad I can't stand it..I doubt I'll ever get out of the USA for all the places here I want to see or see again..I've been all over this country and experienced the rain and weather everywhere.. The USA is magical to me.. But I know theres other places worthy to see also..I just don't think I'll ever have the time to see them all..Tammy

oh the rain! i just love it. one time i was so stressed on my job, i cut the day to join my kids in the rain, i was on my way then to work when it happened. whenever the chance, i would gladly do it again, but its summer here. i will kinda wait for the rainy season to come 7 it will be a very wet day for me. i dunno if its just me, rain always lightens me up. makes me feel like a kid. its used that at the back of our house there was a rain spout drain from the roof, id really want to be under it when it rains but sadly cats had made it there territory & their dirts are all over it, really not the right thing. anyways there is big space, a parking lot actually of a bank near our house, its a prime suspect to commit me to be a kid again. rain rain do not go away come always everyday ! :-)

Hi sweety I like the rain and in England I get to see a lot of it, I love to watch it on water or dripping down the window or with rainbows with the sun gleaming round the edges of the clouds. Wet mornings down on the beach are lovely, warm and cosy in wellies and coat with the beach to myself and my newty-dog and little pattens on the sand, I even like the noise of it on my umbrella or coat, I never wear my hood and brollies are rarely remembered, lol. Sometimis in the summer when we have storms I like to run around in the rain and spin and get wet, that is so much fun with the thunder and lightening, lol

I really like those rainy days because they made me so cool because obviously it decreased the heat. I could do work in more passion and concerntrate. When I was in A-level, I used to be in the rainy day with my friends to enjoy it. What a sweet memory! Well, in the other word, I really love rainy day!!

We like the rain. It is soft water and when it is warm enough we dance in the rain. My son will stand under the window when it is cranked out and stand where it falls like a waterfall and take a nature shower. We put out bowls for catching the rain and use it for the houseplants and rinsing our hair. Being a rainy day means more indoor work and as soon as the rain it done we head to the garden to pull up weeks which is easier after a rain. Rain is a good thing for us. Am in Ohio and we get rainbows. Arizona is just a different sort of beautiful.

During my younger years we used to play in the rain with my childhood friends. We just love to play while taking a bath in the rain. We go home soaking wet and sometimes my mother scolded us for not asking permission to do it. Ahhh....nostalgia! I just love those days.

I visited a friend in Arizona and wow, I just love it! Especially since you don't see it often. Here where I live though, in Delaware, it rains often, so sometimes it gets a bit old and annoying, especially if you don't drive like me, and rely soley on public transit or walking. But if I'm inside, listening to it and watching it is just great:)
