do you have good inexpensive family vacation ideas? We want to drive from texas

I am planning my family's summer vacation. We live in Texas and usually drive to our featured destination because we are a family of 5 and flights are too expensive. We prefer to drive less than 15 hours in a day and dont mind breaking it up into one full day and then a short 2nd day. any ideas you have will be helpful

FAmily vacations are unique and fun
We had a 3 boys and always took them camping. They could play outside, swim, canoe and well whatever they liked
It is cheap way to go vacation Matter of fact Hubby and still do it. Course now we have a 5th wheel and not a tent. Took alot of years to get there though.
We packed things like horseshoes, baseballs,bats, gloves, badminton and board games for rainy days And a deck of cards One deck for each of them LOL No fighting LOl
