Stormpay has Auctions?

Imust be really behind the times. Last I heard ...and this was probably a couple of years back....Stormpay was having money problems. Today I found out that they are running auctions. How long has this been going on? I seriously doubt they can compete with Ebay, but they are probably tapping into the ant paypal market. Has anyone tired the Stormpay auctions yet? Did you have a good experience with them?

Wow! I am really behind times too. I had not even heard that they were running auctions. LOL I know ebay is loosing alot of customers because they raised their fees again. I heard many people say they had switched to craigs place for auctions. I dont think I would trust Stormpay for anything after all the problems they had before.

I've been a stormpay member for quite a while. If I'm not mistaken, the stormpay problems were only due to a big lawsuit involving a certain autosurf site (12DP). I haven't had any problems with my account except for one 12DP payout being seized until the lawsuit is resolved. I even get regular updates from the court appointed receiver for this case, so I know stormpay had to turn over all their records for the investigation. Either way, you don't have to have any money in your account to use all the other features, like the free auctions. Since the 12DP problem, there have been several times that I have even withdrawn funds into my bank account with no problems at all, so I'm comfortable with using their services.

I've tried a few auctions there in the last few years, but didn't do well. I'm pretty sure it had more to do with the item I was trying to auction than anything else though. No competition with ebay yet, but since they offer the members free listings, it's a little cheaper for testing things you've considered listing with ebay.

Free listings?..hmmmmm that sounds interesting. I will have to give it thought.
