Here's what happened. You are at a conference where everybody is business dressed. The guy next to you get up and runs out then returns secords prior to being called up front to do his presentation. As he passes you you realize that his shirt tail is sticking out the front of his zipper. What do you do. I tapped him as he went by and pointed down.He looked down ...turned very pale..pulled his jacket together and went up.Of course when he moved to talk it stuck out like a sore thumb. His face kept getting reder and reder. If you saw it what would you do? If it happened to you what would you do? Thanks Raydene

You did the right thing to let him know, it is just a shame he was too embarrased to straighten himself up before he went on stage.

Well if I saw it I would have done what you did I do not understand why he did not rectify it though lol at least he would have only embarrassed once and not all the way through Actually I think I would have had to stop myself laughing while I pointed it out to him to be honest. I am terrible like that.

You were very kind to try & help this guy. I don't know what I'd do. I have a friend who took German in high school & one of the other people in the class had a very strong Texas accent, even in his German. One day, before he was supposed to give a talk infront of the class & the teacher caught the rest of the class before he got there & asked them to not laugh, if they had to then just put their heads on their desks. Well, the guy got there & started with "good day" in German... The teacher's head was the first to hit the desk. I might have to put my head down....

I would have done the same thing, and if he saw and didn't fix it I would tell him again. Then if he chooses to go on like that then whatever, I can't force the shirt into his pants and zip him up.

I can say that is very embrassing. Especially since he did not check his clothing after he left the room. I know he was red as H**L. Poor man. If it was me I think if I was in the room I would have had to give some kind of gesture or expression to him. It could never have been me I am always checking my clothes for neatness at all times.

I would have done the same thing. Why didn't the guy just fix it? Didn't he have enough time. Once when I was in college, my proff was giving a tour that day to some big wigs that where coming through. I passed him in the hall before the tour. I looked down at his feet. He had on odd shoes. I pointed it out to him. I don't know if he had time to go home or if he had another pair in his office but how to you manage to put on odd shoes.

I know that could be a very embrassing situation and would have no words to explain. Anyway, i would surely face it and proceed. A few days ago, I was formally dressed and was entering into my cabin, when my security guard alerted me and told me that my zipper was down............i was embrassed, but i just smiled at him and immediately pulled my zipper up.
