Afraid of being mugged that you only carry about 20$ with you? Or do you carry alot of money with you because you know that you are going to waste it that day? As for me, i carry about 50$ with me, no matter where i go. I carry 50$ because, you'll never know when something you need is right in front of you. Arent you afraid of getting mugged? Is what my friends always ask me. NO! Why? Should I be? I always hang out with my cousins and friends, and we usually hang in large numbers, so i doubt anyone would want to mugg us. IF i did travel by myself and carry over 100$ with me, i would at least bring something to protect me, though my neighbor is not a bad one. But never underestimate anything! How muc money do you usually carry around with you? Are you afraid of getting mugged? Why?

I only bring a few thousand pesos only when I need to purchase something important or pay the bills. But everyday at work, I just carry say 500 pesos or less. If I gas up, I bring extra for emergencies. No, I have never tried being mugged. I avoid places where it may occur most likely, and I don't carry much cash too.

I don't think I have ever carried money around with me since I was a very little girl. I used to like to carry my purse around with my little change wallet. I never had much money so I never had to worry about carrying money around with me. As I got older, I started opening a checking and savings account. With my checking account, I received a debit card. I usually write a check for whatever I need or I will use my debit card for purchases. There for a long time it took every nickel me and my husband made just to survive on so we never had cash to carry around. all of the money went to food and bills which was paid for by a check or a debit card.

I don't usually carry much cash on me, if any at all. So many places will take debit or credit cards now, even fast food places, that I rarely need to have cash. Also, we encounter a lot of people asking for money when we are downtown (where I work), so I don't have to lie when I tell them I don't have any cash on me.
