If you have to choose a person whom you would be with for a period of time, would you choose a man with a body odor or a man with bad breath? Why?

Probably bad breath. Body odor is something that might be what happens when this person sweats, regardless fo hygiene. Bad breath is often a signal of gum disease, and is something that should be treated by a dentist. Or, just get the guy to brush his teeth, and carry gum or mints with you at all times. It's easier to fix bad breath than it is bad BO.

Neither. Both are disgusting to me. Body odor and bad breath both suck rotten eggs. If he wants to be with me he must wash is *** and brush his teeth and scrub his tongue daily. Funk is not a part of my life. My hygeine is up to par and so should his. Opposites do not attract on this one.

I would not spend any time with eother of them if i was not forced to do so. If having to choose i would go with the one with bad breath. The body oder I would smell all the time. If I am lucky I can make the bad breath become less noticable if i make the man turn away from me and keep his mouth shut.

No way he'd ever be in my bed. I have two bedrooms in my house. :-)

I don't know about htat.....I guess I could stand someone with bad breath a little better. I mean, they can close their mouth and give you some relief. Whereas someone with body odor is just that. The odor from the body is all over and you can't really get away from that.

errrrrrrr........ What a toughie! I wouldn't want either, but for the sake of answering the question, maybe I'd have to go with the one with bad breath, cause I can just try to face slighty away when he talks? ahaha... and it's not like he'll be talking all the time, but the one with body odor will smell whatever he does. hahahah... feel so terrible...

Nah, i cant stand both with that body odor or bad breath. I have a cousin who is from a province and unfortunately she didnt have a proper hygiene the first time she lives in our house. Since we live together,i cant stand to smell her body odor. And you know what i did? I just simply bought roll on, tootbrush and toothpaste, bath soap, cologne, lotion, & shampoo. Then i personally give it & tell her how to use all of it so she would have a good odor and feel clean all the time.

That would depend on whether that man is my husband or child. I can stand him for a lifetime, because I could always tell him to practice proper hygiene thus may remove his body odor or bad breath, or may consult an expert to help us with this problem. But if that man has nothing to do with me... no way! Neither would I choose :)

I would go with body odor because you could get him to bathe and it would go away. Bad breath is usually harder to get rid of and every time he opens his mouth, you would have to smell it. Definitely body odor for me.

bad breath!the body odor problem might never get fixed! bad breath only means poor dental hygiene...they can go get their bad teeth fixed and it's less embarassing to tell someone they have bad breath and recommend a dentist or listerine than it is telling them you think they need a shower. I say the bad breath because you can turn your head while they talk or hold your breath and breath while they're inhaling! People with alot of body odor don't seem to think anyone else notices and still try moving closer and closer to you. ADVICE TO THOSE OF YOU WITH BODY ODOR......IF YOU CAN SMELL YOURSELF, EVERYONE ELSE CAN!!

I would probably stand better with a man with bad breath. I have experienced at the bowling alley of someone with body odor and it was just horrendous. It almost make me sick as he smelled so badly and had to put up with it for a couple of hours. I would not be able to tell if they had bad breath unless I stood up close to them. You can smell body odor from a pretty long distance.

I would rather have neither. But, if I had to choose, it would be the body odor. Body odor is also the easiest to remedy. You can encourage him to bathe more and wear deodorant, or wear some kind of scent. Bad breath is much harder to get rid of as some people tend to have a hard time with it.

Both of them are not pleasant. But it depends of the situation. If i travel with this person or work with him or he is my friend...this is different.

I could stand a man with bad breath. It's easier to offer someone a mint casually rather than whipping out a stick of deodorant for them. I'm into subtlety. :)
