I made an earlier post about life on Mars and I stated that just because it does not register on any of our equipment does not mean it is not there. Scientists have now found seven caves which they are naming the "Seven Sisters". What lies beneath? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/6461201.stm (boy will I be glad when I get to 500 and can cut and paste lol)

WOW! That is so great! Thanks for the link. I really hope they find something that flummoxes them. It would be so fun. But the names....weren't there seven sisters in greek or roman mythology somewhere. The Caryatids or something? Or was it Celtic mythology? Or Hebrew? Anyway; cool news.

Yes, there are lots of instances of Seven Sisters names for landmarks, so the scientists were not being terribly original. However, they did give them different names. I think that the caves prove that there is life on earth and it is intelligent enough to hide whenever Mars has visitors. I must admit I follow all information regarding possible inhabitation of planets as I am certain there is life out there and I would be very interested in more knowledge. Unfortunately with the track record of human kind to new species perhaps it is best that they stay in their hiding places.

They have enough technical and micro chip equipment up there to start a land fill Lakota. All this information is beamed back and they interpet it. But the Martians are way too crafty for them and long may that last!

It's interesting isn't it? I saw some red tree pictures on about.com a few weeks ago too. I'm sure there is more there although little green men? They'd be red surely?

I don't think they are little green men lol. But I do believe they vibrate at a frequency that is not picked up by the machinery being used at the moment. It always makes me laugh when scientists say that a planet can not sustain life. It is like that song "star trekking" life form but not as we know it!

Yup I sure will be happy to cut and paste. It is such a responsibility keep checking all those long urls to make sure I have not typoed. Not fair to have people hooking up to some awful site because I did it wrong lol. As to the caves, I am really excited by this news and shall be following up on this story with great interest.
