what will you do if someone doesn't Keep your Secret ?

First, I will feel betrayed and hurt, then regret for having shared the secret. It would be a good lesson for me never to share big secrets to friends, lest things like this happen. The best thing to do is to confront that friend for not keeping the secret, tell her how painful it is for her to have done it. I'll listen to her side of course, but I'd tell her I regretted having trusted her. I have expereinced it, and it caused my having a "cold war" with her. We were not in speaking terms for months. When I was younger, I have also spilled top secrets of friends--however, today, I guarantee that my friends can trust me with their secreta. I realize now that one measure of mature people is their ability to keep confidences.

I would definitely be mad and disappointed at my friend. I would confront him/her and that could be a reason for me to stop befriending him/her. But if the reason for telling my secret is valid, then I would understand. For example, I had a check-up and I learned that I am very sick. I do not want to tell my family because I do not want them to worry and they have many problems already. So I tell my friend instead. Then that friend of mine told my family. I would be mad at first but I would also understand him/her. I know his/her intentions are good. My family has a right to know my sickness.

To my way of thinking, a secret is not a secret once more than one person knows about it. So, the fault is yours and yours alone. I have things in my life that I have never,never, told anyone. I may die with those secrets. That is what a secret is and how you can be assured it is kept.

That's a tough one. I think it will depend on the situation. If someone didn't keep my secret I would know the next time, to keep it to myself. I would distance myself due to lack of trust and people like that have to watched very closely.
