When someone calls themselves a spiritual person, what do they really mean. Are there beliefs of that of a chrisitian or just someone who believes in GOD? Could you be accepted as a christian through Christ and live the way he wants you to live being just a spiritual individual?

I define it this way, I am a spiritual being that believes in God, I am a christian, I believe that there is a heaven, I believe in god and being as much like him as possible, however I do not buy into the fact that you HAVE to attend a church, donate money, dress fancy, etc. inorder to be a christian. I also don't believe that you have to believe every word of the bible and do what every one says. Being spiritual I believe that my relationship with God is a personal relationship and that the events in my life I share with him and pray to him about are personal. I do not believe that there is a hell, and if there is that we are already here in life. I don't believe in the scare tactics of religion to scare people into being good so they will get into heaven. I have some traditional belief's that are common in religion and I also believe in my spirituality that there are many levels that we trandecend with God, and when we have finally achieved all the knowledge that we were set out to learn through many lifetimes that we return not with God but to God, as we are all a part of him. But those are my beliefs it doesn't make them right or wrong, anymore than someone else's view, I simply think that as long as you have your personal relationship with God, whether it be the Christian God as we know him, or jehovah, or a God of another faith, it is not for another to judge its validity.
