Would you bungee jump?

I will be attending a street festival in a few weeks. There is often a bungee jump setup at the festival. I started wondering, how many of you would bungee jump if given the opportunity?

Hell Nooooooooo! No way!!! Too scared to do something like that. Besides with the luck I have, on the way up I probably would hit my head on a airplane flying by and then on the return trip down the cord would break and I would slam very hard into the ground causing myself to splatter all over the place and make a nasty mess of the whole thing.

I'd actually be afraid, if I managed to survive the heart attack, that I would wrench my joints out of the socket. Nooooo thank YOU!!

I think I would do it! I would have to watch others go first, to determine the safety level. It it seems safe, I'm sure I would get in line!

I did it twice, but it was at a permanent location, not at a festival. I don't know if I would trust doing it at a "travelling" makeshift station. It's an awesome experience, and I just had to try it, but I don't feel the need to do it again. The same for skydiving; once was enough. I can say that I did these things, but why push the envelope!

Oh no count me out. I would be one of those that got hung up and strangled.. And if that didn't happen my feet would probably snap off and if not that my inner self would come out the top of my head from the weight behind my jump..lol If that didn't get me I'm sure the cord would snap...no I'm not going to do it...lol Can you tell it scares the living sh!t out of me.....hehehe

Street festivals are the best!! They're always so much fun, what with the lights, people, processions and food! Although, ours never have bungee jumps available! Given the chance, would I bungee jump? I'd say yes but when I get to the top I think I'd need a push. hahaha

I don't ever see myself bungee jumping. First of all I've never been that physically daring and secondly I have a terrible fear of heights. I have to admit though that it is pretty fun to watch...I guess that's as daring as I'll get!

I would never ever do such a thing for a thrill. My life is a gift, too precious to take a chance if something went wrong. Would you do it Crazynurse?

No! I have nothing to prove to myself or anybody. I would probably get sick from all that motion. I will leave all the crazy fads to the crazies that are looking for a thrill. lol.

The reverse bungee ride. Popular at fun fairs acro - The reverse bungee ride. Popular at fun fairs across the world.
My wife has always been a bit of a daredevil and has skydived, bungee-jumped off a bridge in Australia, learned to fly a plane, scuba-dived with sharks...me, not so much. Anyways, on one of our first dates in an attempt to impress her we went on one of those reverse bungees, where you are strapped into side by side seats and launched into the air....that was the end of it for me...the most daring thing I do now is go swimming 15 minutes after I've eaten or eat pop rocks and drink coke at the same time.

When I was younger and before I had children, I always wanted to try bungee jumping. Now that I'm older and I have children, the opportunity has arisen a few times and I've always declined. I think part of being a parent is making responsible decisions, and bungee jumping wouldn't fall into that category. *LoL*

Definitely - right after I jumped out of perfectly good airplane to find out if a piece of fabric was folded properly so that I don't go crashing into the earth. No, I am quite risk averse. I don't bungee jump, I don't jump out of perfectly good airplanes. I am boring and chicken.

I'm terrified of hieghts but I can tell you I did my one and only bungee jump at the county fair where we live like two years ago. It was so scary getting up there and then hanging until the drop, but once I was falling and then realized I'd be ok it was AWESOME!! I'm really surprised that I did it and glad to have done it but I don't know how brave I'll be again next time I have a chance.

Nope, I wouldn't bungee jump. Ever. No matter if someone paid me to do it. I'd always be deathly afraid that the rope would break, or that the people tying me to the rope would make a wrong calculation in my height and weight. Just too much room for human errors.

No. I would not. I know people who would given the opportunity but not me. I just don't think that is a wise idea for me. I am also not so fond of being high enough up in the air to even do that.

WE went on a family weekend to West Edmonton Mall. THey have bungee jumping in the wave pool. Of course my husband and sons were right into this. I thought I was in the clear untill one of the boys "dared" me. Well I cant pass up a dare. I actually did it. I thought I swallowed my innards. I will never do that again.

Ummm.....heck no! I can't stand the sensation of falling, so I imagine that bungee jumping is just not the sport for me. I shudder just thinking about it.

No way! I am scared of heights, the only way I would do it is if I was going to get paid a lot of money for it.
