For those of you who follow my discussions you will remember that I recently wrote about joining a ghost hunting group. Well our first trip is coming up on April 14th...here is the scoop on where we are going.. "..a Marietta cemetery that was illegally bulldozed over. A developer apparently thought he could get away with building right over it. The headstones were dozed out, but the bodies are still there. Fortunately, a local woman who realized what was going on stopped the incident from going any further. The cemetery is in effect destroyed at this point, & there has been no attempt in recent years to try and restore it. It's not a very well known location, so we may be one of the first paranormal groups to check it out. Additionally, a portion of this graveyard has a parking lot built over it due to the carelessness of a local fast food restaurant. I have heard "rumors" that some of the employees have seen figures walking about the restaurant after closing (rumor or not, that's what I've heard)"

I find this fascinating inked. I worked in a mental health hospital a few years ago. The hospital was housed in a very, very old building that had previously served as housing/healthcare for those returning from war and as a very post hotel after that..and then converted to a mental health hospital. One of my duties once my adolescent clients (I worked the adolescent unit) were asleep, was to go up the the top floor and prep the room used for electroconvulsive therapy. (ECT) The top floor had not been renovated from its old style. It still had the old, creaky wooden floors, old drafty windows and all that you picture when you hear about a building over 100 years old! There were rumors galore about spirits on that floor. While I never 'saw' anything, I can tell you that on many occassions I 'felt' things. Many times I felt something brush my arms and one night it felt as if my hair had been stroked. I remember an occassion where a stack of 3 bedsheets were laying on the end of an exam table...nowhere near the edge...and they suddenly just dropped to the floor. Yup, I felt 'company' in that room on many occassions!! Fascinating stuff!

I lived in the basement suite of a house about 10-15 years ago and saw full body apparitions (a man a couple of times, and once a little girl), plus books flying off shelves untouched, cold spots, and a definite feeling of someone else being there...I'll be sure to let you know how this goes and hopefully I'll have some pics.

Wow, I would love to be updated about this...please let me know how it goes. I have never been fortunate enough to actually see a spirit or ghost, but I've definitely felt them. Thanks!

they caught a contractor in the process of doing this not too long ago in my neck of the woods. he was so bold,he'd rented a crushing machine to smash up the headstones.it was a historic cemetary,too-i guess he thought nobody was watching him.
