Singing and prayers in the shower

If I have the radio on when I'm taking a shower and know that nobody is home or will hear me, then I sing in the shower. Like I said though, I only do that when I think nobody can hear me because I'm sure it wouldn't be good for them if they did,LOL! As for praying, I pray wherever I am. To me that's something that I feel comfortable doing anywhere.

No singing for me...lol I do pray alot in the shower. I never thought about it before you posted this discussion. I wonder if it has to do with the solitude or being in the shower? Now I will have to ask all my "real life" friends this question...you got me wondering...lol

No singing but prayer is common. Singing is along with commercials, theme songs to television shows, while computing or playing a cd in the dvd player. Or sing along while driving down the road. Two activities that can lean goodness to your day and make it better in many ways.

I sometimes sing it the shower. I pray anytime I feel the need then at night I say my usual prayers and have my special chat with God.

I might sing in the car, but not the shower. I pray when ever I want to.

My favorite song to sing in the shower is "What A Friend We Have in Jesus". I kind-of use it as prayer, too, because it reminds me to pray.

I often wake up with praise songs, or choir anthems running through my head, and they go with me most of the day. I do not pick which one, it just comes to me. Driving east in the morning is a sight that motivates me to start my day with Thanksgiving and praise.

I usually sing in the car! My kids often join in too! My friend has a rule that if you don't sing you are not invited to ride in her car! haha. I usually pray whenever I need to but always pray before going to sleep at night to thank for my day and ask for any help and bless anyone that has helped me.

I don't pray in the shower, but I do sing in the shower. I sing all types of songs, worship and non-worhip songs. Prayer for me just about anywhere, but I honestly don't rmember praying in the shower. I pray in my bed at night, in my bed in early morning, alone in my office at work...just about anywhere! Lately, I've said a lot of prayers over myLot when I get up in the morning and see my new numbers. (rating, discussion numbers, amount of $$ earned) I have to stop and say a quick prayer for patience and self-control!

I love to sing and pray in the shower! I do it all of the time. I even do it during the day when they hubby is not there. He can not stand it when I sing. I don't know why, most people think I have a pretty voice. Oh well.

I used to pray anywhere and anytime.It could be in my bed,in the jeepney,in my workplace and yes sometimes in the shower.I oftentimes sing worship songs inside the bathroom.Its totally refreshing.:)

I do sing sometimes - when I get into the mood. I don't find it "cleansing" as you put it but I do enjoy. Getting clean is nice, singing is liberating too. :P
