What are you eating, drinking, or cooking right now?

What are your thoughts on food RIGHT NOW? Are you ready to chow down? Personally, I'm a pretty hungry kid rite now. Is it a meal, a snack bar, or even bottled water? Are you planning to cook a meal? I want to hear it! I am cooking up a lean ground beef burger. It is 90%lean and 10%fat. I also have a side of broccili. I simply threw the burger on the skillet for 10-15mins on med heat, covered, and for the broccili I boiled it in water until it became tender. I am going to drizzile olive oil on the broccili when it is ready. I'm speculating i'll have a little ketchup or mayonaise with the burger. Yay. I'm healthy:P. Howz aboutz you?

I am not so 'healthy' LOL. I have some Lays Salt and Vinegar potato chips and a hot cup of Sanka. We had an early supper and left me with a 'hole' to fill.

Well, you want to keep those trans fat to a minimum everyday. :0. I don't mean to worry you, but essentially they are acting like a posion in your body and slowly, but surely killing you. Kind of like a smoking. What is Sanka?

If I ever pose this question again, hopefully you will have picked up your game! I usually like to have a protein shake when I have a gap to fill. A yummy protein shake at that. It is 1 and a half scoops of vanilla whey, a fresh bannana, 2 tbsps pb, 2 ice cubes, N some water. (sometimes I throw in dark hershey sryup)

I just finish my work and I'm ready to cook for dinner.I let the chicken for 2-3 hours in Teriyaki sauce nd little garlic and now is ready for cooking.I will cook also with the chicken spaghetti.I love any kind of pasta and now as I write to yo I start feel very hungry......better stand up and go for cook.

I ate out today no cooking for me. Wed is our day to go out and eat with the kids. Kinda of like family fun day. I get to relax the kids have fun and we get to eat bad stuff for one day. It's a win win for all of us on Weds.

You get to eat bad stuff for one day? What do you mean by this? Are you eating deep fried foods? Or do you mean foods that are high in the fat content? I usually refer to this as the binge day. When I am not working out I don't need a binge day. I usually feel fine. When I am working out, I usually like to have a binge day one day a week as well. It really helps to equal everything out in your body, but no more than because then I will be unhealthy :(.

I am currently drinking hot chocolate. I had coffee earlier this morning. I will have a soda later this afternoon. As for food, I usually just snack on cheese or struedal. I like a lot of sweet things also.

right this minute i'm having diet coke..but i'm cooking chicken tenders (unbreaded)in olive oil for dinner adding them to pasta and using a pesto sauce...topping it with alittle parmesean cheese adding salad and homemade brownies for dessert

So you cook the chicken in olive oil. Is this on med temperature? Because when olive oil is exposed to high temperatures it burns. Homemade brownies? What kind of brownie mix? I like brownies, but all the kinds I see always have trans fat or partially hydrogenated vegetable oil in them, which I don't like to have. N for your pesto sauce. How did you make that?

I live alone and I do whatever I want. Anytime, I may cook, eat, or I may just buy anything to eat from nearby eateries to save me from cooking. Sometimes, it's easy to be alone but it's lonely of course.

Eating out all the time may pose a problem though. Don't you want to save some of your cash? I like to save as much cash as I can. I don't like to waste any money, but this is just me. Everyone is different. So, you eat out all alone? That seems a little odd to me. Whenever, I go 'out to eat' I am always with someone! You should find someone to go with always. Then you equal not lonely.

Ewww. Soda. blahhhhhhhh. Pepsi equals lots of sugar N a huge spike in insulin. Carbonation equals blah. Water usually does it for me.

well its actually midnite nw....tym for ma midnite snack lol!! im actually doin some stupid assgnt!! ...so i need some energy drinks n something good that wudnt make me fall asleep....n make me want to stay awake!! so i hav some ice cream here too along wid a pack of chips lol

freezingfev!!!! You need some carbohydrates such as bread, oatmeal, or rice. That would be a direct shot of glucose to the brain then you'll do good on your assignment. ;). Ice cream and chips to keep you awake lol. A stimulant may help as well such as coffee, caffiene pill like spike, or a red bull. Red bull gives you wings ;).

I'm afraid I fell off the wagon tonight and had Burger King. I guess I was feeling guilty about that because I ordered the fish burger and asked for fries without the salt. I haven't had fast food for a while, so it tasted GOOD, lol.

You my friend did fall off the wagon! Just try to make it only once in a while and you'll be ok. Trans fat doesn't do a body good. :(. Welp, look at it this way at least you satisfied your hunger, and a had a good taste sensation for one night. lol.

Did you put any herbs or seasoning on the burger? Because it sounds a little bland to me, sorry :( Broccoli on its own also tends to bore me a little, so I like to boil it for a few minutes then stir fry it with some smoked garlic. Gorgeous and healthy! As for me, I'm considering having one piece of Scots tablet. It's incredibly rich, but one bit won't hurt me especially as I'm going to have some fruit afterwards!

I think there were already seasoning in it when I made it. But all I did was have a little ketchup and mayonaise with it on the side. (not much at all). The broccili with olive oil wasn't amazing, but I like to have that for at least one meal. Scots tablet?

Good for you. I wish there were more health-conscious people out there. I had just had a swallow of bottled water when I ran across your post. I already had my main meal today which was salmon and a brocoli-califlower dish with a little grated melted cheese on top. Oh yes, there was a small bowl of chicken-gumbo soup, and two slices of tomato, too. Yum.

Your doing well yourself. Getting your omega 3 fats, a good amount of protein, and vegetables. Did you make the chicken gumbo yourself? With a name like stringbean I guess you would have to be doing pretty well! haha.

Right now I'm not cooking lol, the kids aren't at home for dinner tonight and so it's just me and the other half. I took Pork Chops out of the freezer and I'll probably just fry them up with some rice and a salad. Simple yet healthy and filling.

Right now, i just finished my take-out dinner; chicken ala king from a fast food near my place. While surfing the net i am chugging down a milk tea. Maybe a little later i'll have ripe mangoes for snack. I am planning to cook a meal tomorrow for my husband, maybe a chicken stew or anything that is left on the fridge.
