Hi Friends and Members do you have problems with not enough room to put your clothes away well stop toppling mounds stuff from suffocating you.If housekeeping is a nightmare, then Space Bag is your dream come true. Your seasonal clothes are piling up in a corner and toys are taking over the house. But now you don't have to toss them in bulky plastic bins that take up too much room. Make your stuff smaller by vacuum-sealing your clothes and gain 3 times more storage space. Think small, think safe, think Space Bag. This is a wonderful product to use what do you think??

It's funny that you should mention them. Over the weekend I decided to finally straighten out my spare bedroom and linen closet. Space bags are amazing for storing comforters and pillows! I remember reading once that if you are storing down comforters, pillows, ect that you aren't suppose to vaccume as much of the air out,as it isn't good for them. Is that true? Why would that be?

I love these bags too but have the same question about the comforters and such, especially since I have a lovely down-filled winter coat that I don't use much anymore that is taking up way too much room in the closet. The Space Bag packaging says not to use them for down-filled items, but they do not say why. If any myLot members know this or have an idea why, please post a comment!

I too agree with you, Kathy, that these Space Bags are "a dream come true." Like many others who commented here I wondered about them for a while before breaking down and buying just one to try in my suitcase the day before a trip. WOW! After experimenting, I rushed back to the store and bought 3 more and repacked my suitcase that same night. What a difference. Then when we got home I did some serious Space Bag shopping and bought a zillion of them to revamp my closet. They make these bags in many sizes and styles, but I recommend that people trying them for the first time read the package carefully to be sure they are buying the kind that you can squish the air out by rolling up rather than the kind for which you need to suck the air out with a vacuum cleaner.

I have seen the commerils for those and they seem like they would be a awesome thing to own. I have every closet in my house stuffed with stuff in garbage bags and there are never enough room for the things I have so they would be a godsend to me. maybe I should hint to family memebers that is what i need for my birthday coming in July.. better then having floor to ceiling full closets. I just wish I had the money to get some.

Wow, I think this is what we need. I saw a commercial before about this amazing bags but I didn’t bother to take note of it because I was single that time and I don’t care less about the clutter in the house. But now that I’m married and we have our own house to tidy up, this would be one useful thing for us. We are already running out of storage because of all my daughter’s stuffs (toys, cribs, strollers, walkers, etc). I think, this is really what we need.

I have never tried space bags, but I'm glad to hear how much you like them. We actually just put them on our wedding registry cause I thought they'd be really useful to have, especially since we'll be a military family. I'm sure they'd be really helpful with creating extra space when we have to move all the time! Anyway, thanks for your post, I'm glad to hear they work so well! :)

I have never considered getting these, but I am running out of room everywhere I turn anymore it seems. I just wonder if these keep your clothes from looking wrinkled though, as if it don't, then this might defeat some of the results intended. But at the same time, I think that these might be worth looking into also.

I do not use them around the house but I have them for when I moved and they are brilliant. I was able to get a great portion of my wardrobe in my two suitcases. I also use them for travelling because then my suitcase has more room for souveniers.

You know, I just saw them "tested" on tv over the weekend. The girls who tested them were college dorm mates with very limited space. They actually liked them. I thought the price was reasonable and may try them as well.

I've often thought of buying some of these space bags, but never actually got round to it. I really need to reduce some of the space in my wardrobe, and they would be perfect, so this weekend I am going to buy some and just do it! Sometimes we just need a little shove in the right direction, and you did it for me this time Kathy.

Seems like you really love these space bags, kathy..lol well, I haven't bought one yet but maybe when my room gets real crowded, i should go grab that space bag for myself. For now, I usually get rid of the clothes I don't use anymore so they won't be taking up too much space on my closet, and same with my shoes and bags. For some which are still in good condition and can still be used, I give them to my cousins and am glad they appreciate them though they are just hand-me-downs. :P

I bought the walmart version once and won't do that again. We are going to be buying a house and I think that I will get some for when we get ready to move so that the stuff takes up less space. We have a really good vaccume so I think that we could get all of the air out which was the problem last time.

This is something I have often wondered about, I would love to try out these bags - and boy could I use them - but am not sure how effective they are and how re-usable! Since they seem quite expensive I have never actually bought them because of these questions but I do think they sound like a wonderful idea! If you've used them Kathy can you let me know how effective they are because I really do need some help!!!!!!
