ohh this is very nice that some one wants to discuss about Budu, a fermented fish from Kelanatan, Malaysia. The fish actually been fermented commercially in Kelanatan. University Malaysia Sabah currently conducting some projects on the Budu. The objectives are to find out the nutritional composition and to extract the DNA. As far as i know fish been fermented for the commercial purpose consumption. fish takes about a couple of steps to make into full fermented product Budu.

i know budu of course as i have eat them before. I know the smell of budu is like hell,..but i don't know how i find that food is nice. I most of the time will put some chili and eat with cucumber...i get to know this food from my kelantanis friend and since my partner that time was a kelantanis guy so i adopted this kind of food easily...I think,...budu is not that important food but a very famous food which became a trademark of kelantan.
