What do you think about Bouguereau?

Do you know his works? Do you like them? Have you actually seen any of them?I absolutely love all his works but I have yet to see one live as I have no idea where they actually are. Looking forward to that though:)

Oh.... I love Bouguereau.
My favuorite painter is David, infact my favourite art movement is Classicism/Neoclassicism. I love every kind of art, but Neoclassicists are the artists I prefer, so I like David, Ingres, Camuccini, Appiani, Canova, Mengs, etc.
I think that nowadays there are really great painters, but they prefer other kinds of art. However they could paint as Bouguereau if they wanted....

Well I am very glad that someone else has heard of him and likes him besides me. I find his art to be very underrated :)
I must confess I don't know many things about today's painters as I'm more interested in the older ones. Will look them up to find out more :)
