What board games do you play?

Are you fond of some indoor games like the board games? Some examples are chess, dama, scrabbles, millionare's game, casino board games and a lot more.
My favorite one is chess although I'm not really good at it. I sometimes call it, "winning war through mind". I call it that way because it's like when you fight for your own Kingdom and as a knight or warrior, since this is just a game, all you have to do is to think on the right moves so you'll win.:)
Do you also like to play chess? Or do you have other board games that you are fond of playing to?:)

Interesting topic. I don't play them much anymore, but during my college years and right after I got married we would have cookouts with the main purpose being to play board games. We played Taboo, Pictionary, Twenty Questions, Risk, and Win, Lose, or Draw. My daughter and I like to play Deal or No Deal the card game. I miss playing those with all my friends. There's nothing like it.

Oh really? There's a Deal or No Deal card game? I thought it's only on TV, now it's on card games? That must be more fun too. :)

I used to play chess but haven't in along time. Occasionally still like to play Scrabble ,Payday and sometimes the short version of Monopoly.

I really enjoy othello and backgammon. We have two of each of these games, one for our home and one for our camper! I never did learn to play chess. My husband and son enjoy playing chess though.

I like chess too. I remember watching a match between a chess champion and a computer on ESPN a few years ago. It was fasinating. It ended in a draw. I like to play online. I am not that very good but I enjoy playing.

I don't play boardgames that often nowadays as it's pretty hard to grab some people to play with me..lol but when my cousins and other are around, we do enjoy a couple of board games depending on our mood...
we have chess, scrabble, and snakes and ladder as our options. Scrabble if we feel like getting nerdy, chess if we feel like "pang tournament", and snakes and ladder if we want to nurture the children in us.. lol

I play chess quite a lot. It is a fascinating game. You work on strategy and tactics. It is really a broad game. There are so many areas in the game. I sometimes do chess puzzles.

I personally don't like chess. I'm more into Monoply and Scategories.
I'm a kid at heart so I like playing Operation.

I seldom play any board games any more since it is hard to find people to play. I quite like monopoly and risk. I

I love backgammon in fact I earned a lot of money in college playing for nickels and dimes and the occasional term paper even (shh our secret) funny this topic should come up i had a dinner date last night and I was saying where would we be today without the Internet and the guy said probably huddled around a board game hmmm makes you wonder have we lost some of the human touch???
