My feet didn't grow during pregnancy but my belly sure did LOL. I used to wear the same size clothes that I wore every day until I was 7 months pregnant. Then all of a sudden, I blew up over night. It cause me to gain weight really fast and it also caused me to get some stretch marks. I didn't ever notice that my feet had grown though. Are you sure your feet got longer or did they just get thicker which causes you to wear a bigger shoe?

Mine did...by almost a whole size! I used to wear US size 4..SO difficult to get ladies shoes in that size. Now, I can almost fit into a 5 which is great. With some padding in the bottom, I can wear almost anything! I'm happy cos' I don't have to only shop online or in the kid's department for shoes! haha!

My feet did grow towards the last trimester of my pregnancy. Not only that, my whole leg swell. This is due to water retention. I guess this is part and parcel of being pregnant.

actualy in pregnancy there are few causes which leads to lower leg esp.foot get swollen- 1st due to high blood pressure. 2nd thing is due to sodium retention. 3rd is poor venous blood return...coz due to pressure of abdomen veins get little bit obliterated. so oedema on feet gets. so for that u must hv to rule out the cause. avoid salt intake....do regular exercise....check up for blood pressure.

Hi,dont get afarid and dnt be shy this is normar in pregnancy,my wife also had the same problem but she use to be normal. She was advised to go for a walk for an 1/2after every meals and every supper, she even advised tosleep with a pillow undr her both feet and even at the time when she sits and she was strictly adviced not to stand for a long time and not to sit for along time as this increases the swell in your feet. All the best.

When I was pregnant I lost so much weight I looked good. No one thought I was pregnant. I had morning sickness, afternoon sickness, and evening sickness. I lost fifty pounds. No weight gain at all. I have heard stories about woman having water weight gain and that must be terrible. I did get bigger boobs though.

It is quite frequent for a woman's feet to sweel during pregnancy. The pregnancy puts a lot of strain on your cardiovascular system, wherein "blood flow" so to speak, is diverted to the baby if need be. So the extremities (feet, hands) are the first to lose good blood perfusion causing them to retain fluid usually carried away. Usually you can just put your feet up and rest and it will help but it can become dangerous at times. Ok, there is the boring medical fact of it. LOL! Leave it up to me.
