What " What is your first memory ?" I always ask to people, many of them cannot remember their first memory , what ,where and when. At what age most of us can remember your first memory, I myself can only remember vividly , I was on our room it seem like i just woke up with my mother beside me and i recognize my father just coming in to our room , and i say "papa" that's what I call my father, then my mother stand up and say "that is not papa" , my mother then pin my father with the door and my father react as he was in pain with sound effect, but I knew they are just pretending,I can only guess that I'm about 2 years old about then. That is the picture or video taken only i can see. I ask you all " What is your first memory you remember" share your beautiful memory.

are you referring to the oldest thing that happened to you that you can still remember? =) For me, all i can remember was, i was in a wooden crib located in my grandma's house living room (i think i was about 2 or 3 years old then), eating OISHI (a famous junk food here in the philippines) while waiting for my aunt (the sister of my mom) to arrive. She was the one who takes care of me whenever my parents are away (and she was also still single and working that time so during pay days, we always get a bunch of "pasalubongs" or food from her). If i remember it right, i was wearing an old blouse with faded blue, yellow and red polka dots on it. =)

I dunno how "beautiful" this is but my first memory is being awakened (in a crib-style thing, but more intended for toddlers than infants -- I was likely about 2 years old), in a hospital, by a nurse, to give me a shot of something. It matches my parents' accounting of my first couple years of life ... not a healthy time for me :) I spent lots of time in the hospital. The memory is still striking for me because of the vivid detail -- I remember being awakened by the bright light the nurse turned on above me; I remember the nurse's gender (female); I remember the room was at least semi-private, and it's likely my mother was present as well because I recall hearing a soothing voice that wasn't the nurse's. I recall that the nurse was competent but "cold" and distant -- not cruel or mean but not overly nice either. This probably explains why I dislike hospitals :)

I do not have any childhood memories. I have lost all of them , the earliest memory I would be my first year of high school. Which was hell for me. But that is beside the point.
