Welcome to Mylot. I hope you will enjoy it here. You will find that there are a lot of wonderful people here, and you can make some really nice friends.
I just wanted to remind you of this. If you post a question, please keep checking back to see the response. Sometimes it is quick, other times it takes awhile until someone answers. But, don't post and forget to go back. Also, it is polite to respond back if possible. If not, atleast rate everyone a + if they answered you. - if it was a yes or no or one word. ! if it was abusive. And, lastly, please give that one special person "best response".
We also rate postings. So, if you like the post you read, it is really nice to give that person a + for their efforts.

Thanks for taking the time out welcome the newbies margieanneart! and thanks for the positive notes passed on to us! yes I do rate good discussions and answers even if I did not start them, I have yet to start a discussion. Will do after I get the star..... thanks again and a + to you!

Yes, welcome to mylot yes you are right there are a lot of wonderful members here on mylot which I have found are very helpful and kind the majority of them so I do hope that you find mylot the same to you. God bless you too and thank you for being my friend.

I´m not a newbie, but I just wanted to thank you for giving everybody a warm welcome and a all the important info about rating responses and posts.
When I joined I had no idea that I could rate posts, not just responses.

I've been here awhile now, but haven't posted much, this info is valuable to me, too. I've been so afraid to post a topic in case I forget a step, I don't want to alienate or overlook anyone. Also, the ratings system I thought confusing until you broke it down as nicely as you did. I was not aware we also rate the original post, thanks for telling me. From now on I'll do this---in fact, you'll be my first +! Thanks!

Tis good to welcome the newbies. Wish to let them know that tolerance will be tested with all the glitches. Be patient.
Also please don't pick the Best Response within hours of beginning a discussion. Some people have a life outside of Mylot and will get to you if they are supporting you which we all hope our friends do. Rating is indeed helpful so that our stars can be all they can be. Good to rate the discussions you respond to also, since it helps the discussion makers star too. Also lets you know you have been there to that discussion.
Be patient and be organized and you can earn while you learn and share here at Mylot. Welcome to you all.

Thank you for the warm welcome! I just recently joined MyLot and I'm still confused about how things work. It's really nice to see someone that has been here for awhile take the time to to address those of us who are newbies. Once again thank you for the welcome and thanks for the tip on rating.

Thanks for the tips - I'm new but I'm trying to be as good a citizen as possible. I always + anything I find interesting or nice, even if I choose not to respond. I try to keep up with the people that respond to me, or as many as possible. Man, people are quick on here!
