If you had to choose which comes first would it be your job or your family?

My family would definitely be ranked higher than my job. You can always find another job, but you only have one family.

I've always chosen family over work but that is only because I have back up for money. I bet if no one helped me out I couldn't give up work for family. There are people close to me though who will help my family if I couldn't be there asap.

first of all,my priority is my family and their welfare,, we all work to support and give our family the best that we can give them...they are the reason and our inspiration to work hard..

In most occasion, family comes first. But there are also situations that you have to prioritize your job. Basically depends on situations. We have different priorities in life but definitely family is right on top of it.

My family comes first.....them if I feel like answering the phone I will do work. But i find in this day and age people are forgeting the family and spaending to much time at work and thus one suffers.

Oh I'd have to say work....nah just kidding but figured someone had to since everyone else was saying family already. Yes family and myself come way before work. If the work can't understand then they are the ones with the problem not me. My thought is if I can't be there for my family then why am I even here?

It would definitely be family. I love my family and they're always there for me too. Jobs come and go.

I strive to create a symbiotic relationship between my work and personal life, but it doesn't always work. If I had to choose it would always be family....unless of course they're just needing me to do the things that they're just too lazy to do themselves. That happens a lot since I'm the only girl in a house full of boys.

Its not about giving preference to only one of these - either job or family. If you ignore your family, your personal life suffers and if you are less committed to your job, then your professioal future is at risk. So its all about striking that right balance between your personal and professional lives.Very few are able to do so which itself is a reason why only a selected few enjoy a happy and contented life.
