Are you Anal About Cleaning?

I never used to be, but it seems since we moved to a NEW house...I'm getting that way. I mean of course I do have 5 kids, so I can only be so anal, without going insane, but as far as trying to keep it looking like new I have been trying my best.
However, I would not really say I'm anal about it, because I am fully capable of going to bed with dirty dishes in the sink...I had an ex who is OCD and would have to dust the lightbulbs in every light and polish all the pots and pans and keep them on display, and would have to polish anything around the house that showed so there were no fingerprints on anything! Drove me nuts!

I was raised to be a clean freak pretty much. I have carried it over with me through my adult years also. Sometimes I wish I did not worry about the house being totally spotless because I spend alot of time cleaning around my husband and my daughters messes daily. I wish I could be a little more laid back and not worry so much about the dust here, but I can dust today and later on you can dust agaiun. I don't know where it comes from. We also bought our home new about 9 years ago and I like to keep it looking that way also.
