I can't go to sleep with the light on either. I try to cover my head up with the covers but my eyes know that there is still light outside of them. We used to work the night shift and we had to sleep during the daytime hours. Itis very hard because our bedroom faces where the sun comes up. The sun comes straight through our window at that time. We had to end up buying new blinds for the windows that were darker so it would help shade the sunlight and keep it out of our eyes so we could go to sleep.

I can not go to sleep with the light on. It has to be totally darkness in the room for me to go to sleep, and if someone turns on the light while I'm sleeping I will wake up.

I can't sleep while the light is on. It irritates my eyes and I keep moving covering my face. Maybe it's the light that is striking my eyes.

i can fall asleep in the light..usualy do in front of the tv on the couch. when i actualy go to bed though i need it dark. and quiet bugs me to no end, i have to have a background noise of some sort, usualy i hava small fan running, the monotonous noise seems to help me a lot
