This is how he earns $1 per hour from mylot!

Ok! Yesterday, I got this mail from one of my friend, in my personal e-mail (not that of myLot’s PM), where he shared his modus-operands on how he made $1 per hour on this site! I have already written quite a few discussions on earnings here on myLot, most of those have been removed by the ‘mods’, because of their own valid reasons, so I am not sure, if this too, will fall in that category. However, I am just sharing what has been told to me by that myLot friend, and I hope that no guidelines are offended in this discussion. 1. Discipline yourself – Properly schedule, and set daily target. He told me that he spends two hours daily on the site, one hour at the morning, and one at the evening/night, as per his availability. 2. He also makes sure that what he is suppose to do it that one hour time. He has even disciplined the number of discussions he will answer, and start! More to it- he has also disciplined number of lines (minimum) that he will write per discussion/reply! 3. He only sticks to his topic of interest, and he said that he never tries to experiment with the subjects. He will open 10 windows at a time, and will search for his subject of interest(s) in the search bar in all ten windows (!). Then, he will simultaneously select the questions that he feels, he can answer well, and he will answer them one by one! While he submits the reply of one discussion, and the pages is getting reloaded for the ‘tags submission’, he just shifts to another window, and utilizes his time to answer other discussion. This, he says, saves a lot of time! 4. He says that he makes sure that he replies every discussion with minimum of eight sentences. The number can exceed eight, but it can’t be less than that. He also told me that he make sure that he uses right punctuations, that is best known to his knowledge. 5. According to him, he manages to reply at an average of one discussion per three minutes, and in the first hour, he replies to twenty discussions, all of those replies are eight sentences or more, and well punctuated. 6. In the second hour at eve or night, he spends the first half an hour to load photos, and he says that around 25-30 photos can be uploaded at one time, and it takes him maximum of one minute per photo uploading. In the next half and hour, he told me that he starts 5 discussions on the topic of his interest. Again he makes sure that his discussion is at least of eight sentences or more – it has to be minimum eight sentences - that is what he told me. I don’t know, how he calculated it though. Whenever he gets a good idea, he notes it down in paper, so that he can develop in a good discussion, and he also told me that he always have enough ‘stock’ of ideas saved in his computer! 7. Now I am not going to give you any figures about earnings, as my earlier discussions have been removed because of giving some clear earnings figures, but I can tell you that he told me that, because he keeps his activities strictly limited, i.e., 20 replies in first hour, photo uploading in the next half hour, and commencing 5 discussion in the next half an hour, (and he is being doing it on daily basis), he has an idea about how much he is being earning per discussion/reply/photo. 8. He told me that he has observed that he is able to earn on an average of 1$ per hour for his effort. He also mentioned that he is assuming that, all his discussions gets at an average of 5 replies oven them. As, he is one good friend, so I don’t think he is lying. He has told me not to reveal his name, so please don’t ask the same. Also let me know the following from you: 1. How do you feel about his analysis and observations? 2. Would you like to give it a try? 3. Do you think you can also discipline yourself this well? 4. Do you think being discipline pays everywhere, including myLot (of course!)? 5. Do you think, I have violated any guidelines in this discussion? If yes, please let me know where have I gone wrong, so that I could be more cautious next time. Thanks once again of bearing my trademark long discussion! Cheers!

gud to know that u think the rules have not been voilated, its not motivating to c sllep with 40+ responses on a discussion, n wake up to find that it has been deleted!

I got tired just hearing of his regiment. But I will say that a dollar/hr is better than nothing. I'm real curious about the 8 line thing. Does one 8 line response do better than 8 one line responses?

haha! thats is soething that needs to be seen! he has not told me about it, but i guess 8, one liner responses would be almost qulivalebnt to a good response, but then it will take much more time that one reply, isn't it?

I guess this depends on that person's skills and by how his computer performs. After all, we are having hard times in looking for most of the discussions that interests us, and I think only a very high intellectual person can do that. If he says the truth, then I guess it's good for him. I've been here for four months, with less members and posts to choose from, but I never encountered anyone with those of what he has told you. I've also known great people here, and the post they made are of very good quality but never treated themselves as a machine just like what I see in your friend!LoL

i have seen a few ppl who told me that they earn in three figures, majorly because of there posting (ie no real referral income), but they cm to devote ard 5-6 hrs daily on the site, i think if we compare these two, then a lil bit of discipline n planning can reduce their time by a couple of hrs, n thats what my freind cm to have worked out, i guess! cheers!

I have heard the people who have a direct plan and stick with it here do the best. Or so they say- I try to be disciplined. I try to get on in the morning and then later in the day. I think it makes sense to stick with your interests-- that is what you can make the best quality responses with. Things you actually know about. I try to keep my responses to a minimum of 4 sentences- thats why I stick with answering only things that interest me.

Been preaching the same thing to people, it is not about quanity per say but the quality of the replies. I always try to use a couple of paragraphs in my discussions and in my replies. Right beside the comment line mylot even give everyone a clear cut time "Please be as descriptive as possible." If you are then you will make more money. If you are not you will have 500 post before you make enough for payout. I reached min. payout at 320 or so post. And was called a liar and that is just not true. My post are more discriptive than what theirs are and that is why I have made more money on my posts than what they have.

Blimey I am definately doing something wrong as at this moment in time I have only earnt a little over $6. Judging by other posts I have been reading I thought I had been doing well! I guess not!

I think if we follow to work like your friend on Mylot, may be it will bring little better result regarding income; I am not sure about $1 per hour though. Personally I try to post a response within atleast more than 4 lines, but I have never earned more than 2cent per response even sometime less than that. Can you tell me that if there is a limit in photo uploading during the month? Lie if you can earn unlimited for photo uploading for a month.

keyboard - I spend a lot of time on my computer. It would be nice if things could be sped up a bit.
That sounds like a lot of work for $1 but I guess to each his own. I am curious about the bulk upload thing though. I know that you mentioned where it was, but I didn't see anything there. In fact, I have looked around and see no place where I can do this. If it is available it would make things a lot easier, but if so I would like to know where to find it. My internet is too slow to upload many pictures. If uploading them several at a time were possible I might be more willing to have them going while I did something else. Doing them individually though, I have to wait at my computer while each one finishes and it seems to take all day.

Thanks for clearing that up. I had double-checked to see if there were some way of doing this, although I doubted it could be done since there are several information fields that must be filled out for each photo.

I don't think it would be possible to make $1 per hour from myLot even after putting this much effort. Anyway, thank you for the informative post; keep posting such tips. By doing so, I think you are not violating any guidelines.

Wow! Those are quite a few guidelines to follow in order for ones account to amount to much. I don't have 2 hours each day to devote to this. I find I am not making much money but will at least stick it out till I reach a payday.

Your friend has obviously done a great deal of trial and error work to come up with a method to mazimize his potential and earning. I wish everyone the best of luck with the system if they choose to try it. I for one am here to enjoy myself, and if I can make a little bit of money then thats cool too. I like having the chance to respond to intelligent discussions and exercising my brain some and reaffirming my belief that there is intelligent life on the internet...:}

First of all, thanks a lot for these tips and trics. They will probably be very helpfull, and I sure will try them. Here are the answers to your questions : 1. How do you feel about his analysis and observations? These are great! It's nice to know that some people are willing to share their experience with others. Very helpfull. 2. Would you like to give it a try? I sure will give it a try. Starting today! At least, today I'll write my goals and I'll try to find a way to divide my time into different activities. 3. Do you think you can also discipline yourself this well? By nature, I am very disciplined, so I probably can do it. 4. Do you think being discipline pays everywhere, including myLot (of course!)? I think it does. Discipline combined with being organized can lead you far. 5. Do you think, I have violated any guidelines in this discussion? If yes, please let me know where have I gone wrong, so that I could be more cautious next time. No, I don't think so. I don't see why helping others should be considered badly by the mods.

It sounds like your friend has some good ideas but I really can't get my head around $1 / hour. I have been here a while now and have only made a max of $3 or so in a day and that is when I am putting a lot of hours in. I do usually ramble on in my replies but I am also on here for the friendship and conversation. The money is just a bonus!!

Wowww, your friend seems to be very very disciplined! His routine is very interesting and I think it would be well worth a try, after all he isn't violating any rules but has a well planned mylotting regimen. During the first 20 days of this month, I was able to average over a dollar per day, and honestly I haven't been posting that much, no pictures at all since I think mylot doesn't pay enough for images. From the past 3 days I've been pre-occupied with other things so my earnings have been almost a dollar, but not quite. I'm not sure if your friend's analysis is good or bad, but if it is working for him then well and good:) I wouldn't try so hard, I'm happy with what I'm able to do and earn now.

Wow thanks a lot for that information. That would be a very big help for me though sometimes it's really hard to make at least 8 sentences in a discussion unless the topic is really interesting and you can relate in the topic. I'm always online for more than 5 hours a day but I'm still having a hard time reaching out 1 dollar a day. May highest so far is 55 cents a day but I'll try my best next time. Again thanks!

I dont think I can discipline myself like your friend. My work load in my present job always make me bring my office work to my home. Then I have to do all the housework-cooking, washing, cleaning, looking after my children and so on... but I still interested to join my lot, eventhough just for a little time because I like to share my opinion and experiences with others. At least I can improve my writing.
