I prefer margerine over butter. Butter is natural and better for you. Margerine is made by man it's composed of plastic and it's not a genuine food. Have you noticed if you sit margerine out flies won't even touch it. What do you use butter or margerine and why???

I wont use butter. It is made from cows milk which isn't a natural product at all. It is normal for animals to drink the milk of other animals, so I don't eat butter as it is made from milk. I eat soya margarine. Yes it is processed, and in no way could be described as natural, but at least no animal suffered in order for me to eat it.

No animal has to be harmed for butter. You don't have to slaughter a cow to get butter. Even as a vegatarian I used butter. Sweet unpasteurized butter is the best. And babies have the casin enzyme in them to break down cows milk up to the age of about three years old.

I am curious are you also opposed to a mother's natural milk for her baby? While nursing a baby may not be comfortable at first, it does get to a point where not nursing is more uncomfortable than nursing

I like margarine the best, purely because of the fact that it is easier to spread! :D

I eat butter. I think margerine tastes funny and it usually doesn't satisfy me as much. I've found that if there is no butter and I have to use margerine, i'd honestly rather go without.

Once you've had the best you don't want the rest.

Was that a typo, Zoom? you wrote that you prefer margarine over butter, but then inform us how horrible margarine is. I do prefer natural butter over margarine, for flavor, scent, consistency. And used to churn my own, and then use the butter milk after working the butter for baking with. I did not know that oleo was a plastic though. I thought it was a veg. oil.

Butter For Me - Thanks all have butter any day over margerine. It may cost more but it is surely worth it.
Major typo. I prefer butter over margerine. Yes I read some where before that margerine is or like plastic it has no food value whatsoever.

its not made from plastic its just hydrogenated (thickened) oil, tey use platinum to do that those "trans fats" cause cancer its better to just eat butter, especially organic, since toxins are stored and concentrated in fats

I use unsalted butter in a limited fashion. Saturated fats tend to give me a headache no matter what I use. But, I can't seem to find unsalted margarine, so I use butter.
