mylot should look on this discussions seriously

I only have one, as I respect the rules mylot has given. They have given us a chance to earn a little money, while enjoying discussions. I do not think it is right to try to cheat them, however, they will eventually get caught and they'll be gone...did you report them?

in my case, i only have 1 account. but in our household, there are 4 myLot members here. this is the only computer in the house. although they don't use my computer and go to myLot as much as i do, they log in myLot from time to time using this computer. so, the IP lock would be a problem for members like us.

I only have one account and only one ID to use here, because I do my best to meet the standards that mylot has provided for us. Just recently, I am also with this same kind of discussion like your's. And that the thread host caught a certain mylot member who managed to have 3 ID's which the cheater uses in responding to her own discussions and that she put her other two usernames under her own referrals. This I think has been alerted to mylot admin, and that the offender will then be banned from entering again this site. We expect this to have result as soon as possible, we can never allow cheaters to rome and ruin mylot's good reputation..

My gosh what a cheeky thing to do! It's difficult keeping up with just one account never mind having multiple ones and I'm sure your "friend" will be caught out soon and will end up losing both or all of his accounts for trying to cheat this way. This really is not in the spirit of the site, if your pal and others like him haven't got the decency to put the effort into the site as everyone else does, then they have no business being here and people like that ruin it for everyone else. I don't know if the IP protection thing would work. I know people who are living in student houses and different people are logged in at the same time, same as people logging in from university, they might have similar IP addresses (I'm not 100% sure how it works). If someone I knew here told me something like that I would personally report them to myLot, friend or not, they shouldn't be cheating the system like that!

That is cheating! I hope myLot would take this matter seriously. There are lots of honest people here and don't let this few stinking people spoil myLot for the rest of us.

I am a member in Goldposter and yesterday I recieved mail,kind of warning from the administrator saying that many people were infact opening multiple accounts.so multiple accounts from same IP address would not be paid in future.Also,I guess people there are trying to make more money by posting under different names and then donating that money to their primary account.I am not one of those,however.I hate to break the rules ,whether in real life or virtual life.I have only one account here.Frankly,even if you had two acounts,you would have to work really hard to psot responses and discussions too.You would effectively be working for two people!not to say that your responses and discussions would be similar in nature, or that you would have to rumble up your grey cells quite a bit to get the kind of money some people are looking for.I like this site for the discussions we have here, and initially though I came for money,now I like it here.I think Mylot should get a safegaurd in place which detects multiple accounts from single IP addresses.

Some family members can be on Mylot with different account as long as you have seperate bank accounts anyone can join mylot in a family. Why are you so worried about it. You get paid don't you? You have got good money hear, so I wouldn't worry about it.

u are totally right. ppl have different id to do this type of cheating. Mylot shoukd have this to check authentication.Its the case with so many I suppose

Well, this is a serious question that should be paid much attention to. I remeber yesterday someone started a similar discussion and said his friend is doing such a thing. He got 3 mylot accounts, and made the other 2 the referrals of the first, and by doing this, he got much. It seems these people are too clever to have such a scheme. Have they realized that what they have done violated the mylot rules? Or are they thinking that mylot staff will not catch them? So that their schemes just going on and on. This is unfair to other honest mylot members. I'm sure most people have only one account. I hope this problems will arouse the attention of mylot staff, and take measures to solve it.

Well this sounds to me soo wierd having more than 1 id on mylot. Since mylot is such a big and growing one isnt there any hindarance to such cheatings? How can one person do this kind of crap. Anyways i really dont appreciate these kind of things and i am totally against such people. Wish mylot admins would make a note of this and take some preventive measures :)

Oh heavens that sure is blatant cheating, very unfair on part of your friend. I think mylot should monitor such things and disallow more than one account per person. The reason mylot doesn't have IP restrictions is because users may be logging on to mylot from cyber cafes and browsing centres, so coincidentally if two different people have accounts created from the same IP address, then either one wouldn't be allowed. Mylot should think of something to curb this, this is the 3rd discussion I've seen today of users having more than one account. I have only one account and wouldn't think of starting another one!

Actually ya I only have one mylot account but what I wanted to say is that if mylot fixes ony one account per IP then it will be quite foolish of it as people have siblings and friends or relatives having account at mylot which they access from the same computer and so if mylot keeps one ID per IP then it will loose a lot of members and as of for those people who really want to rob mylot can also use different measures like using different computers or going to cyber cafes etc. There should be other ways of checking them out but really the one you suggested is just not it. I am not surprised at hearing things like that any more. People will do anything to find loopholes and take advantage. I do want to earn money but I want to be able to do it honestly then I will be able to live with myself.

I have only one account and never tried to break the rule of having more than one. I don't want to jeopardize my honestly earned money and risk the chance of being banned from this site. I love mylot! What else can I say? I hope they can look into this matter so we can all have a fair earning share. Thank you for this information.

lol...good discussion...This problem is seriously for most of us.Mylot should pay attention to the IP protection.I just have one mylot ID and one mylot account.I don't understand why some people have two or more.For me,one is enough,because I am here not for the money.The lillte money from mylot cann't help you do anything you want to do.So I just having fun for discussing and posting use my only one mylot ID and account.But you are right,mylot should look on this discussions seriously... No. I only have one account and I feel the same way you do. I only started with this site yesterday. I have found that I do not make very much but that does not matter to me. I really enjoy helping people and have no respect for those who want to rob this site for the sake of profit. Thank you for your discussion.
