ever received that response when you ask them why they did something? or maybe you yourself used it? how does it make it you feel when all the explanation one gives you is "just because" and usually it's their way of saying "either just take it or let's end this discussion."?

I have gotten that excuse alot from my daughter ash she has grown up. she would get into trouble and I would always ask her why she did something and her excuse would always be, just because. I would say because why? She would asnwer with because. I tried to explain to her that it was not a reason or an excuse and it is not even explaining to me why she did what she had done. I think they use that phrase because they do not want to explain why they did something. They just say and leave you guessing the reason why.

My son tries to use that with me alot. It is very annoying. Makes you want to just start screaming.

I've heard that kind of excuse before. It makes me feel like throwing a childish temper tantrum. LOL ~ I know that sounds a bit funny, but it's true! I want to jump up and down, making incomprehensible child-like sounds while balling my hands into fists. lol.
