Will you sign a form that says that if in case you undergo through a coma, that you will continue on with the artificial life support like ventilators until your body can or will you sign a release form that says not to put you though life support and just let you die naturally?
This situation is from the movie just like heaven by reese witherspoon- she signed a release form not to be given artificial life support. For me i would choose the same..not to be given artificial life support- i dont wanna prolong the agony of the people im gonna leave behind as well as their pockets as well...

I will not want to continue with artificial life support. It is highly taxing on the resources of your family. Unless you are rich enough yourself, the money is better used on the really living. And if there is no high chance for one to live, one would be better off just leaving.. instead of hanging on and wasting so much resources. :/

I have a living will that I have signed. I choose not to be put on life support. I may change my mind later as technology advances. They may come up with somehting to bring a person back to a healthy life by the time I die or go into a coma. I do not want to make the expenses for my family any more than what they will be when something happens to me. I do not want to lay there like a vegetable who does not even know what is going on around them. I do not want to prlong the suffering of my husband and daughter either to watch me lay there lifeless.

I have bronchial asthma. So any little ailment gets me in rough shape as far as breathing. So I would take the artificial life support to keep me breathing only. I will not be ressucitated that. I feel if it's my time to go then so be it. This is depressing.

I'm definitely not for ALS too, I don't want to see my loved one's to be more troubled if my time has already come.
For my life, I am not afraid of losing it because I already leave the rest to Him. If ever I would go, I think it would be much more better to leave with a good feeling that my Creator will take care of me..
